Very close to the beach. Property was clean but the signage of the unit was not clear and I had to call the host. The host was very responsive.

We had a great stay at Surf’s Up! The property is clean and spacious, with tons of natural light. Our son loved swimming in the community pool, and you can’t beat the 2-3 minute walk to the beach. I highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

This was the best stay ever, we could not be happier with our experience. Everything we needed was there! Very clean & tidy as well. The entire process was extremely easy & smooth. The host is wonderful with amazing communication. My family & I have been staying in Topsail for over 30 years & we recently lost out on the place that we call home here. This place made up for it in so many ways, it is now our new favorite. We cannot wait to stay here again!!

We had a wonderful stay. When we arrived, everything was clean and well prepared including fresh linens and towels. The home is very airy with plenty of room to hangout and watch tv or prepare a meal and dine in. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Great spot close to everything! One note that would be helpful for check in is telling the renter what unit they will be staying in along with the door code you provide. Had to call the management team for help checking in. Sewer smell was a bit of an issue when we stayed. Also the apartment is directly across the street from a bar that plays live music till around 11:30pm. The beach access is awesome and super close. We did not see a place to rinse off very easily. A playground right beside the condo as well.

This property was just the right size for our group of four, the location was excellent although it is across the street from a very lively bar with live music, they go late so be prepared for a little noise. Don't forget your beach supplies as this property supplies no extras. If you are elderly or at all disabled pass on this one as there are roughly 30 steep stairs to navigate to get to the property.

My pup and I stayed for 6 nights and we were extremely comfortable. The townhome, while an older property, was spotless and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. King bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable...I slept like a baby. While there is no "ocean view", the beach is only a short, 2 minute walk around the corner. If you are bringing your pup, there are plenty of places to give your dog a potty break, but please make sure to bring poop bags. If your bringing younger children, there is a really nice playground just steps away. The only possible downside was the 2 flights of stairs to get to the main floor of the unit, so if you have any mobility issues, you may want to take that into consideration. The unit is right off the main road, but traffic was minimal when I was there (May 2026). There is a very popular, local bar called the Trailer Bar directly across the street. I had no issues with any loud music from there, but I was there during "shoulder season".

The check in process was ok, but there was some confusion due to links in VRBO messages being part of the message and non-clickable. It would be better to send links via email. The lock was dead and the only way to communicate with the host was via message, the phone number did not work. The location is a tale of night and day. It is very convenient to the beach and pool. Great during the day. At night it is directly across from Trailer Bar which apparently does outdoor music until 11 and open with “activity” well past 2 am. Really not suitable for family with kids, if you are looking for a party atmosphere on the weekends, then maybe it’s your place. It just isn’t the peaceful relaxing beach experience some may hope for.

Beautiful condo, 2-3 minute walk to the beach!

Very clean and spacious, bright and beachy. We only made breakfast and had all utensils and pans needed. LOVE that they had k-cups with a Keurig! 2-3 minute walk to the beach! This condo is right across from the Trailer Bar. They have live music which was great. We would just put chairs on the deck, listen and people watch. But when you’re trying to sleep, you can hear everything across the street. People tend to get a little louder when drinking, lol. Did not bother me one bit, my husband slept right through it. If you’re a light sleeper, could be an issue. I would not let that keep me from staying here again. Great communication with the owners. If you’re looking for a place to stay and don’t care if you have a beach view, stay here!! Seriously only 2-3 minute walk to the beach. P.S. LOVE that there is a washer and dryer! I could pack light knowing I was able to do laundry.
