We love this place! It’s the second time this year we stayed. The houses is set up well and the location is so perfect. Views are amazing and within walking distance to cute restaurants and an ice cream shop.

Excellent communication by host and the property was perfect for our weekend getaway. Location and views great. Overall, property was clean, just a fair bit of leftover dog poop in the yard from previous stays. We picked it up along with our own dogs, no big deal. Enjoyed the property. And would stay again

Property was fairly clean. The pullout coach was not that clean and we were not informed to bring sheets and blankets from the pullout coach. Great views of the bay. Not so much of the ocean.

1st impression got skewed due to attention to detail issues. Texted and worked with Sweet Homes and assuming Owner right away. Both very responsive. I would question the validity of their cleaning service and supposed timing. Location, location, location. We absolutely loved this place. Bringing a crab trap or 2 next time. Walking distance to everything. Views for days. Seals and Bald Eagle. Great relaxation spot. Comfy beds. Need to update indoor signage. Will return. Party of 6 and plenty of room to relax.

This house was very disappointing. With fees etc..this rental was around 1,000 per night and it was the worst rental I have ever stayed in. I rented this for my Dad's 80th birthday and I was embarrassed at the condition of this house. First of all the location, it is one block off the bridge and right in downtown Waldport. There is street noise, traffic, alarms, street lights, etc.. all disturbing your privacy and sleep. In addition, right in front if the house there is a public garbage can which was overflowing and critters or wind would use to throw garbage across the lawn every night.The condition of the house is very poor. The upstairs carpets are so stained and dirty it is disgusting. In the kitchen, directly above the open dish storage, part of the ceiling is literally crumbling and hanging down over "clean" dishes. The retreat next door appears to be remodeled and is in better shape but has a strong mold order. The disposal was broken during our stay, which I understand happens, but there was nothing done other than to let me know that. I had to go to the hardware store on my vacation and purchase a sink strainer to prevent food from going down the drain. One our first night there after a long day of travel, we went to get in the hot tub only to find it at 77 degrees. When I reached out to report this I was told it was cleaned that day and it should warm up by tomorrow. We could not use it for 25% of our trip. I could go on..

The Retreat was filthy. I am very glad I brought an extra set of sheets and a blanket because the condition of the rental was unacceptable. There were spiders and bugs everywhere — even in the bed and sheets. We killed multiple bugs the first night alone.The second night, we moved a few things around so we could sweep and clean, and found even more bugs underneath. It was extremely disappointing and made the stay very uncomfortable. If we had not been there for our annual family reunion, I honestly would have left the next day.The Cottage was slightly better, but not by much. Whoever is responsible for cleaning and maintaining these rentals is not doing an acceptable job. The location was honestly the only positive part of our stay, and by the end of the trip I was simply happy to go home.
