Beach House Getaway, a pochi passi dalla spiaggia

In una stradina senza uscita scoprirai la nostra casa riposante. C'è molta luce naturale in questa casa con le grandi finestre e il lucernario. Ci sono viste parziali sull'oceano da casa e sul ponte anteriore con la spiaggia a pochi passi di distanza (2 minuti). Miglia e miglia di spiaggia sono lì per l'esplorazione ed è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi dalla pittoresca cittadina di Waldport o Patterson Beach State Park della porta accanto.

La casa dispone di una camera matrimoniale con letto king size e bagno padronale con vasca e doccia. La seconda camera ha un letto king size. La terza camera ha un letto estraibile (2 posti letto). Vi è un ampio soggiorno con divano (2 posti letto), poltrone reclinabili, centro di intrattenimento TV con tv via cavo e dvd. Tutte le camere sono dotate di tv via cavo. Sala da pranzo aperta con cucina ad isola e cabina dispensa. Bagno completo fuori dal ripostiglio e sala.
All'esterno c'è un grande ponte posteriore coperto e ponte anteriore aperto.

La posizione è comoda quanto arrivano sulla costa dell'Oregon. Waldport è a pochi minuti e offre ristoranti, generi alimentari, ecc. Waldport ospita la baia di Alsea, dove vi è la pesca del salmone e la pesca del salmone di classe mondiale. Waldport ha il campo da golf a 9 buche Crestview a meno di 1/4 di miglio da casa nostra. Punti di riferimento costieri come Seal Rock, Devil's Churn, Cooks 'Chasm, Spouting Horn e Cape Perpetua distano meno di 10 miglia. A nord 16 miglia si trova Newport, dove è possibile visitare l'Oregon Coast Aquarium, l'Hatfield Marine Science Center, la Rogue Brewery e lo storico Newport Waterfront.

We chose this rental for the king bed and the location, both of which were good. The owner gave directions to the house in advance which was nice. Entrance to the house was difficult because there were two lock boxes and no directions as to how to get the key out of the box. The routine cleaning of the house was fine but the house is in need of a deep cleaning and reorganization. The kitchen drawers, shelves, and pantry needed reorganizing and cleaning. There was not any open shelf to store our groceries. The closets were cluttered so difficult to use. The blinds had slats or wands missing and the very old lamp by my bed was broken. The window valances were layered in dust. The decor and the house were dated. The beer bottles lining the top of the kitchen cabinets made us feel like we were in a college apartment and were not in the online pictures. There was no soap for the showers, only nice bottles of hand soap for the sink. The exterior of the house was rusted in places and there was not any indication of landscaping or a garden as indicated in the description. There were lots of puzzles and games which would be fun for a famiy.

it was as advertised. Their were four of us, we needed three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Amenities were great, especially the washer dryer. Location was good, as we spent our time on local trails, Cape Perpetua, Thor's Well, Devils Churn, and enjoyed local restaurants and shops

Wonderful property! Provided us with everything we needed to enjoy a fantastic family vacation. The shed had chairs and beach supplies, the house was spacious, and we could see the beach from our windows! Excellent!

Excellent beds,lots of room for our teenaged daughters, very nice layout. Very ,very quiet neighborhood.We felt at home immediately.The little trail was just perfect for a peaceful early morning walk at the beach.!!!

Fourth year we have stayed here

Comfortable bright beach home. Very well supplied. Short drive/walk to miles of sandy beach. Reasonable driving distances to several quaint beach towns. Nice westside deck for evening/sunset viewing. Sunny eastside covered deck for enjoying your morning libations. Yes, we will be back to this home away from home beach house.

Lovely house with ocean views

We stayed here for a few days in July and had a lovely time. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. You can see the ocean from the living room, and there is a nice back porch. The neighborhood was quite, and you couldn't hear any road noise. You can walk to the beach through the neighborhood, but it's quite a steep drop to the first step on the makeshift stairs once you reach the beach. If you have mobility concerns, you can also access the beach from the Governor Patterson Memorial State Recreation Site, which has an entrance the next street down.

Home away from home.

We enjoyed our stay! Having a beach access and views of the ocean from the living room was high on our list. It did not disappoint. It was a quite street. The beds were comfortable. The location was excellent for exporting both North and South on the coast. We did a fishing trip with Trade Winds out of Newport and had a great experience.

Our third stay at this property

We have stayed here 3 years in a row. It feels like home. The house has all the amenities anyone needs for a wonderful vacation. We love it. We are booked for next year. Don't hesitate, if your family likes a beach vacation, you can do no better than this cozy home away from home.

Definitely needs some maintenance

Overall, the place is comfortable and well-stocked. The beach access is nice and neighborhood is quiet. There is definitely wear and tear showing in the house. We noticed that the front door is very sticky to open during the day, but at night it was next to impossible to get the door open. I literally had to have my husband help open the door. If there were ever a fire there, this is going to be a death trap. The master shower was not draining at all, and my husband ended up fishing a disgusting, smelly glob of hair out of the drain the size of a muskrat. I took a picture of it, but I can't insert a pic here. One of the sinks in the master didn't drain either. You'd think the cleaning people would notice and address that. The towels all smelled musty and like they'd be left to sit and stew in the washer for too long. Ick. Like I said, this place was OK, but not great. We wouldn't stay here again.

The perfect place for us!

Everything was as described except the walk to the beach isn't 5 minutes--more like one minute! The walk itself is pleasant as well. The beach is great, the house is great, the back yard has bunnies and hummingbirds all around. The house itself is roomy and supplied with everything you need. And Waldport is close to other popular places like Newport, Depot Bay, and Yachats. I like that it is a smaller town than the others places, but it also has plenty of great stores and things to browse. My whole family loved it!

House was amazing along with the beach being just down a path. House was more updated then the pictures posted. Couldnt be more pleased with the place for our short stay. We will definitely be back in the future.

This house was very well stocked. So many things were available for use. The house was laid out well and much larger than I thought it would be. We really enjoyed staying here and plan to do so again in the future…
