This house is wonderful! Exactly as pictured plus some. Has that perfect mountain charm but surprisingly very spacious. Host was so friendly and helpful. I would recommend and will definitely be staying again!

The house was secluded but easy to access and is much bigger than it appeared in pictures. We appreciated the pet friendliness and space. We loved our stay and would like to return in the fall.

Gorgeous well-appointed home with all the amenities! Well stocked with anything you’d need to enjoy your stay. The kids loved the bunk beds, puzzles, and toys, while the adults loved the updated kitchen and bathrooms. We all loved the fire pit for s’mores. Can’t wait to come back!

Great home away from home. We had a minor issue shortly after check in but host Erin took care of it immediately while we went out to dinner. Even dropped off some chocolates!! Very responsive and great communication. We definitely would choose this well-equipped and comfy home again. Thanks Erin!

We had such a great stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and super pet-friendly! The outdoor fire pit was perfect for relaxing evenings. Erin was very accommodating and had great communication, which made everything so easy. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Property was absolutely amazing! Spotless,equipped with more than anything you could possibly need, Host went above to accommodate for our pets, Kitchen was top of the line w/ everything you needed, felt like a brand new home, the outdoor porch was so relaxing. Host quickly responded to all questions & concerns we had before our stay . Highly recommend! Very professional.

Extremely friendly and helpful host. The house was very clean and beautiful. The location is perfect, close to the lake but not close enough to deal with the confusion. Proximity to both fonta flora and lake James mountain bike trails we very close.

The house was cozy and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked except there was only on small pot, but plenty of pans. The listing said the house has private river access. I took that to mean that there was river access directly behind the house. A clarifying statement that river is accessible by a short drive would have been helpful. Once I adjusted my expectations, we had a great time. Thank you.

Fantastic overall experience. Host had great communication and the house and property were awesome. One note is that we found the river access to be a bit disappointing. You have to get in the car and drive then even at that it didn’t look super enticing. We ended up not using it. The beach access nearby was delightful and we also rented a boat for the day as well as did mountain biking, and floated the Catawba. Overall would highly recommend. Awesome grill setup and loved the outdoor firepit. Wouldn’t hesitate to rent again.

Beautiful property, very accommodating for our dogs that came with us. Host was very communicative when we had any questions. We also enjoyed how close it was to the boat ramp, trails, and brewery. Will absolutely book again
