This review does not accurately reflect the property or the reason the guests chose not to stay. Upon arrival, they told us they had allergies, despite knowingly reserving a clearly disclosed pet-friendly home. They did not report these detailed allegations to us at check-in or allow us an opportunity to inspect or address them. They then requested a full refund, although the home was available as booked and their decision not to stay resulted from their personal circumstances. As a courtesy, we offered to refund any nights we were able to rebook if they followed the cancellation procedure, which they did not do. This is a nearly 100-year-old beach house with the character and minor cosmetic imperfections expected of an updated but historic home, all accurately represented in the listing photographs. There was no issue of odor or cleanliness, our homes are professionally cleaned between every guest and all carpets & upholstery are steam extracted at least twice per season. We value cleanliness and accuracy as our most important criteria. It is unquestionably a full four-bedroom, three-full bathroom property—not what is claimed in this review. We stand behind its cleanliness and condition, as supported by the many excellent reviews from guests who have stayed in and enjoyed the home.
