We entered into a beautiful estate in spotless condition. For a family reunion of 16 of various ages, there was something to do and space for everyone. My only advice is that since the space is very open, bring baby gates for small children and pets to limit access.

Great Stay

The property was accommodating for our family gathering. Many options to entertain while stuck inside (rained the entire trip).

Thanks so much for your kind words, Larry! We’re glad the home gave your family plenty of options to stay entertained, even with the rain. Hopefully, next time, the weather will cooperate and you can enjoy some of the outdoor spaces too. We’d love to host you again!

Perfect place to host a large group getaway. Right on split rock course between the 10th and 11th holes. If you’re into golf then look no further. Jack Frost 10 minutes away. Plenty of beds for everyone and activities. Hospitality goes the extra mile. We had a really awesome weekend here and the host couldn’t have been more responsive or accommodating. Highly recommend and would come back here in the future. Worth the extra money for the comfort it allows you and when split with a 10 person group can be on the high end of affordable.

One of the 8 bedrooms had improperly installed duct work and limited the flow of air conditioning. This made the room extremely hot and uncomfortable.

House is as advertised. No major complaints. Only minor thing is they say they have essential spices and kitchen items but they were empty or very low. If you book, bring your own from home just in case but that’s a minor complaint. You should book the home!

Something for everyone!

The home has ample space for all to find a spot, beds were super comfortable, and the pool table was a hit with our group! There is much to do outside of the neighborhood, but I was disappointed with the "lake access" aspect of the trip. There was no public spot to access the lake, a real bummer in 90 degree weather!

Hi Victoria, thank you for the great review! We're so happy your group enjoyed the home and that the beds and pool table were a hit. We're sorry for the disappointment with the lake access. Access to the lake is part of the optional paid amenities at Split Rock Resort, which is just a short walk or drive away. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will make sure our listing is even clearer for future guests. We hope to host you again!
