Great place to stay. Layout of the house was perfect. We had eight guys for a golf weekend and everyone had their own bedroom. Pool and hot tub worked well. Highly recommend.

Our group of 14 had an amazing time at the Thaddeus Twitchell House! The house was huge, and perfect for large groups. Everyone loved having their own bathroom in each bedroom and mini splits made it easy for everyone to have a temperature to their own liking. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need and then some, including 2 dishwashers, which made it super easy to stay on top of cleaning. The house itself was very clean and comfortable. Jason was quick to respond to questions and easy to get a hold of. We would love to come back again!

This home was perfect for our company’s strategic planning session. So much room! Great space for our working sessions. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need for cooking— and all good quality. The place was one of the cleanest rental homes I’ve ever stayed in. Jason was great at getting back to me with any questions I had for him. We had a great time in the Bethel area as well— great hiking and great dining options. We even went horse back riding! Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for our large, multi-gen crew! Having two grills and two refrigerators made feeding everyone a breeze. While we loved the nearby hiking, we made just as many memories at the house. We spent mornings drinking coffee by the fireplace and afternoons enjoying the pool, hot tub, and a yard big enough to throw a football.

The Thaddeus Twitchell House was perfect for our family ski vacation. Very convenient to Sunday River ski resort & the small town of Bethel. The property was very clean & well equipped with everything our family needed. Would definitely stay here again!

The home was beautiful and could accommodate a large group like ours. We appreciated the good communication with the host, the spacious and well-stocked kitchen, the en suite bathrooms with good water pressure, and the great location super close to Sunday River. I would definitely recommend this home to a large group looking for a great place to stay in this area!

Wonderful vacation spot

We had a fantastic vacation here. Three families stayed together, enjoyed attractions in the area, and a full pool day. We couldn't have had a better stay.

Our host JASON was extremely welcoming. The amenities in the house are far beyond what would be needed. Everything is first class. We love the proximity to Sunday River. We had a great time skiing three generations together. It would be difficult to describe the exquisite food, one confined in the town of Bethel. We truly recommend this for any kind of family gathering. Again we want to acknowledge how friendly and supportive Jason was throughout- thank you!

Excellent House and Location!

Impressive and comfortable property for a group of friends, located just minutes from Sunday River as well as Bethel and other attractions. Well stocked kitchen and spacious layout to allow spaces for gatherings and allowing guests privacy.

we love staying at the Thaddeus Twitchell House

Wonderful house, comfortable, well equipped and big enough for a group of 12-14 women who have an annual winter gathering to ski, snowshoe, sing, cook and eat great food, read, play music, you get the idea.

Beautiful home!

My family met there for my parents 60th anniversary, and it was an absolute pleasure to spend the weekend there.. as others have said, didn’t even need to leave the house, so much to do in a beautiful setting.
