Very clean and comfortable. Host was very responsive to our questions. Close to Ball State, which was our reason for travel. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely stay here again.

This was the BEST rental I have ever stayed in. It was just like having your own home. Don't look anywhere else.....rent this home. You won't find anything this central for this price.

The place was super clean, the bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom was big and well-maintained. The host gave me the necessary info before I needed to ask for it which is not always the case. It is located really close to Ball State. If my daughter chooses to go to school there we will be staying here for sure!

The apartment was close to where we were visiting family for a long weekend, and it was close to the little downtown area. It was clean and a complete, new remodel. The space was just enough for us. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was really helpful. It was a little tricky figuring out how to get to it, because it is a "garage apartment" and you have to go down an alley to get to the front door. The kitchen was a nice size and the space was utilized really well. I would suggest bigger bath/shower towels, they were a little small for my husband and 2 adult sons, lol. All in all, we would consider utilizing this apartment in the future when we visit our family. We live in Michigan and it was only a 10 minute drive to our nephew's home, so the location was perfect for us.

Very clean, comfortable, well appointed. We would have appreciated a cheat sheet for all the remotes, e.g. the ceiling fans, space heaters, and AC/heater. Our reason for not rating it 5 stars was that the tap water tasted terrible, and we weren’t prepared for that. We were near the conclusion of a two week road trip, and no where else had we encountered tap water we couldn’t drink. Fortunately we could get by with four bottled waters provided by the host and distilled water we had brought for a CPAP. We’d come to explore the Cardinal Greenway and needed extra water for our bicycle bottles.

Really happy that the bed was a real mattress and not memory foam! Slept like a rock. Neighborhood is sketchy but the home was really quiet, new, and very cozy. Wonderful stove and oven for cooking. It's within walking distance to the college and close to coffee shops and main drag. I am happy they provided board games, nice dinnerware, and two tvs. Thanks again!

Excellent hospitality and accommodations!It was so nice to have snacks available waiting for us upon arrival. The ice and water options were so nice. We felt so at home in this safe, quiet neighborhood with discreet parking right at the door. Hope to book again when we come to visit our family. Easy access with personalized code provided from owner. Clean, great communication, had everything we needed.Thank you so much.

Previously had stayed at this property, and all of my previous comments were still true for this visit as well. Of note -- in my previous review (which was 5 Stars), I did express the want for some extra lighting in the living room area and when arriving for my second visit -- low and behold the hosts had listened and accommodated this need. Above all else -- the ability of the host to listen to guests and adapt on the fly is going above and beyond. Highly Recommended!

We spent three nights at this property and we loved every second of our stay.This property, the Cardinal, provided for an extraordinarily quaint, cozy, and peaceful getaway in Muncie. The property sits back in the neighborhood of which it resides, tucked away from the business of the it's surroundings which creates a very quiet experience and stay. Directions were clear and given ahead of time, entry was seamless and without issue. Coming and going was a breeze and the location was close to a lot of the areas of interest around Muncie. The host provided all the necessities and then some to give it that extra touch and homey feel which was greatly appreciated. The bed was cozy, the wifi was speedy, the tv service provided all the streaming apps we tried using. Only very small thing I would suggest is a lamp or a slightly better source of light in the living room area as the overhead ceiling fan provides very little. Other than that , what an exquisite stay. My partner would love to make this "our spot" when in town and we are planning monthly visits to Muncie. We truly hope this property is available when we go to book for next month -- it will be the first place we check.

The cottage was very clean and neat. Great for 3 travelers, to me it would be a bit tight for 4. If you are staying for a long period of time and plan on cooking, take your spices. Everything worked well, close to where our conference was. The neighbors in the alley could possibly keep their properties a bit more tidy. To a single female, the alley could be intimidating. Over grown trees and weeds. The property owner has no control over this issue, but to some people it would be a deterrent in possibly staying there. I would highly recommend the Cardinal cottage.
