The house is beautiful. The hosts were quick to answer questions and help with any issue. Our family had an awesome time fishing and swimming, although the trip to the lake is quite a hike.

This is a spacious and lovely house, very clean and well cared for. The kitchen is especially well supplied with dishes and cooking equipment. Although the lake view from the deck was obscured by lush summer vegetation, we still enjoyed the great deck spaces. The dock area, with plenty of seating, was enjoyable as well and everyone was able to walk down the hill on the paved path to it and back up—even our elderly dog. The location of the property is on a pretty quiet inlet and we felt safe swimming around the dock area. The children enjoyed the well-supplied game room. It was an excellent gathering spot for our family.

Wonderful weekend stay at this lovely property. Large kitchen with all the tools to help cooking for a large group. Relaxing and peaceful views of the surrounds and the lake. Thank you for a great stay!

Overall the property was great and worked perfectly for my family to get together to celebrate my daughter's graduation from VT. It's hard for all family members to come from out of state and have space to relax and hang out together. This property provided just that. I realize we came when pricing for hotels and all rental properties increase their prices exponentially and require minimum night stays. I don't necessary agree with it, but realize that's the fact and everyone does it. Had pricing been more reasonable we may not have had the opportunity to stay here so feel the pricing is a catch-22 situation. It definitely was very clean and a beautiful house and surrounding property.

Amazing house

We had a wonderful time at Dogwood Hollow. The house and property are beautiful. The house has everything you need for a wonderful getaway- games, baby furniture, kayaks, fishing rods, a lending library, every kitchen gadget that you will need and a wonderful children’s loft with a teepee! The house is decorated so nicely. We loved finding the little mouse house pictures. The furniture is beautiful and extremely comfortable. The neighborhood and the lake are quiet and peaceful. We would love to bring our family back for another vacation in the future.

Check-in was a breeze. House was gorgeous. Bit of a steep hike from the house to the lake. Few kinks with the stay: main floor half-bath door was off track and wouldn’t close; few of the fitted sheets, while laundered, had stains in the “lower” regions; landscapers showed up bright and early on our first morning there and we had no heads up that they were coming. Also, not under the control of the house owner, but the lake canal apparently is NOT a “no wake zone”. Several jet skis and boats came thru at full throttle with no regard for anyone who may have been swimming in the water, so be mindful if you have little kids. Again, all things that can be worked out. Everything else was awesome. Great dock, fully outfitted kitchen, large rooms, fun games, great WiFi, comfortable beds and pillows, lots of different areas to hang out. Would def stay here again-
