The driveway was a doozy but overall we had a great time! The jacuzzi was just the right temperature. The house had everything we needed.

The driveway does have a short, steep section, but the steep part is fully paved, with the remainder being gravel. Excellent Short Stay

Great short family getaway for hiking/relaxing. Very clean and new A frame cabin with exceptional décor and accommodations.

My family and I spent a couple of days at the Slate Estate and loved it! The place was very clean. The cabin is modern and we loved the decor. My kids had a blast.

We had a great stay! The property is in a great location, cozy and well stocked for a relaxing stay. There are some beautiful hiking options right from the home. The driveway is steep, they’re not kidding! It’s a bit challenging to navigate and especially with luggage but once inside it’s beautiful! The host was very responsive to a small issue and it was resolved quickly. The mattress downstairs was pretty uncomfortable and we decided we wouldn’t want to spend more than a couple nights on it but overall it didn’t affect our stay. Some outdoor lighting around the fire pit that’s not the bright lights on the house would be helpful to get back into the house after a fire at night. We had a great stay and would return for another weekend in the future.

We stayed at this cabin for two nights with our family and overall had a good experience. The cabin itself is beautiful, cozy, and was perfect for a short getaway.The only downside was the drive to the cabin. The road is very steep, narrow, and rough in some areas. We felt that a vehicle with higher ground clearance or four-wheel drive would be much more comfortable, especially in wet weather. If you have a small car, be prepared for a challenging drive.The cabin was also a little dusty in some areas, but it didn’t significantly affect our stay.Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would recommend this cabin for a short stay, especially if you’re comfortable driving on steep mountain roads.

The cabin was beautiful just as shown in the pictures. The kitchen had everything needed to cook meals. The location was secluded but close to everything. And the hot tub was hand down the best. Only negative was the cleaning, walls in bathroom were dirty and ceiling fans were dusty. We would love to stay here on our next trip.

then an suv or truck there was no way for me to come or go from the drive without scrapping. The kids had a blast the shower was awesome and it fit our family of 6 perfectly. The kids said a 1000 out of 10.
