Mimosa Bay is one of my favorite beach homes ever! The tranquility and the beautiful, relaxing bay right in the backyard made our stay so special and convenient. My kids were able to play outside while we enjoyed so much privacy—it felt completely different from staying directly on a busy, crowded beach.The house itself is absolutely beautiful. I especially loved the master bedroom, the private balcony, and the gorgeous bathroom. Everything felt comfortable, peaceful, and perfect for a family getaway.Another huge plus is the location. The house is only about four minutes from the crystal-clear beaches of Anna Maria Island, so you get the best of both worlds: a quiet, private bay at home and stunning Gulf beaches just minutes away.Most importantly for us, the home is pet-friendly, which meant we were able to bring our pets and truly enjoy the trip as a whole family. We absolutely loved our stay at Mimosa Bay and we are already thinking of coming back !

Beach view was like you were on the beach! The views are unlike any Ive seen in a house. Everything was mostly new and clean. The neighborhood could use a little tlc but there was lots of new construction going on (pretty typical for Florida I think). It didnt feel unsafe by any means. Would highly recommend!

Exceptional bay-front property!

Exceptional property! We truly had the most amazing stay. The property is so beautiful and clean. It has a ton of charm, and the view off the entire back of the home of the emerald green bay is unmatched!Between waking up to amazing sunrises, hearing the sound of the water, while enjoying the bay breeze and watching all of the dolphins swim by, it was one of the most serene and tranquil experiences. The pool and spa are brand new and we loved having options to swim in the pool, paddle board (host provided), fish or take a raft and float in the bay right out the back door. There are several restaurants walking distance along with Pine Ave. and the ocean is just a short walk away. We really loved staying on the bay without the hustle and bustle of the beach goers. We can’t wait to go back to Mimosa Bay to make more wonderful memories.

I can't say there was any false advertising; the location is as specified (on the bay, not the gulf) and the pictures are accurate. The linens were clean and the pillows were of good quality. However, the home, and its general maintenance, are in need of some attention. Things like: doorknobs falling off, mismatched and broken TV remote controls, damaged upstairs TV, broken bathroom sink drain, inconsistent painting. Also, the home was not stocked as I had expected it to be given the price point. I would expect things like a blender, plastic baggies and/or storage containers, more towels, wagon for the beach.

Beautiful home we loved the pool with beach access, and a perfect view. Perfect size for our family of 9. The kitchen needs to have bowls w/lids and a blender and Extra towels in the bathrooms. There were no extra blankets only the quilt that’s on the beds.When we went to cook I couldn’t find anything and opened the dishwasher which stunk and full of dishes! One door had a white powder on it and a bedroom floor had black sticky things on it. I did message host and they offered to send someone to clean this, but I had already done it. Also lamps in the upper bedroom didn’t work.Its a beautiful home just need somethings straightened out.
