This is a beautiful property on paper. However...NOT immaculate. This property is full of mold. It is on the ceilings in all baths....suspect to be in air systems. It was all over the door into the home from the garage. Upon further inspection on the second full day there....we found there has been extensive water intrusion into the home on the back of the home....beginning on the second floor down the wall to the first floor. There was mold growing out of the wall switches and plugs. There was mold on the doors and the door frame on the second floor living area. I am extremely allergic to mold.....water damage such as this (IN THE WALLS) is dangerous for anyone. After discovering more and more mold over the first 48 hours in the home....we had to spend time trying to make it safe...including rental of hydrxoyl machines...however discovered it was beyond the scope of an individual. We are talking probable stachybotrys, chaetomium and aspergillus/penicillium in the walls. Major remediation of the home is needed by professionals. This property was removed from VRBO for a SHORT time..days... and is now back on the market for rental. Our visit was in the middle of July. Irresponsible! Trying to get money back via VRBO...the rental company ESPM will not respond. Also to note....none of the HVAC systems were able to cool the home below 78 degrees....and the two upstairs showers would not drain properly and you ended up standing in inches of water. NOT a vacation for us!
