We loved our stay! Shelagh was a great host and incredibly responsive. Stunning views in quite setting with all the amenities you could ask for. Highly recommended!

This property was even more amazing than advertised! It is about a 10 to 12 minute drive drive from either Boone or Blowing Rock, so the location is fantastic. The house had all the amenities you could think of, and then some, and was spacious and comfortable!

Communication was excellent and the home was amazing. Great views from atop the mountain along with watching the various wildlife. Very quiet and peaceful. Would reserve again.

The property was beautiful and the view of the mountains from pretty much anywhere in the home is gorgeous! The kitchen was fully stocked and equipment was well taken care of. The host was very communicative. The house was in a great location very accessible to both Boone and Blowing Rock. We had a wonderful visit!

From planning to locking up, this property exceeded expectations! The owner was so kind and prompt in responding. The property was very well priced and had a stunning view of the mountains. My children had so much fun playing foosball in the game area while my husband and I enjoyed a glass of wine looking at the mountains. Everything was very clean, updated and had a great layout. Will definitely be rebooking if we come back to the area. Thanks for a great stay!

What a lovely mountain home!! From the minute you walk in you can feel how comfortable and warm it is. The views are amazing. Waking up to the Blue Ridge Mountain sunrise is something to be seen. We will definitely be returning!!

Shelagh was such a great host! Very responsive and informative throughout our stay. The home was beautifully decorated, there even was a little Christmas tree for our December stay. Fantastic location 10-15 minutes to both DT Boone and blowing rock. It’s even 9 minutes away from Appalachian ski mtn which was wonderful. We will definitely be staying here again!!

Can’t beat the views of the valley! Very quiet at the end of the road on top of the mountain. Waking up to deer grazing the yard. House is stocked with everything needed for dining in, roomy for the family, modern yet cozy.

We loved our time here! The house is extremely well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen not only has everything you need, but the knives are high quality and sharp. The beds are very comfortable with soft, organic linens. The views from the outside deck were just fabulous and we couldn’t get enough of all the deer families around the house. The owner is so kind and quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was truly amazing! the house, the view, and the host. We had the best time in the mountains, and my kids genuinely didn’t want to come back home. The home is spotless, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything you need for a relaxing stay.We loved all the little things that made it feel special: making s’mores, grilling, playing foosball, going skating, and spending time downtown. Shelagh Doyle was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Thank you so much for adding the Christmas tree—my kids were thrilled, and it made our holiday feel extra magicalWe truly enjoyed our Christmas stay and would absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay! The host was quick with communication and the loved all the touches. The location was great for easy access to Boone and Blowing Rock. We had some rain and the roads and driveway were still very easy to navigate, we're just sad it meant we couldn't use the fire pit. We really appreciated the black out curtains given it is a sunrise view, and the view is out of this world!

This house is beautiful! We especially enjoyed the large deck with mountain views. The location is great for Boone or Blowing Rock things to do. The kitchen was well stocked and there was ample easy parking (rare for app ski mountain). Would love to stay here again.
