The views from this home are outstanding. Sitting high on Bear Mountain, the deck and living areas offer beautiful views overlooking Denver in the distance and definitely lived up to our expectations. The house itself is spacious, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kitchen is large and well-equipped for cooking, both indoors and on the grill. Don't overpack cooking supplies. They provide most spices, oils, and essentials. Additional stemware wouldbe appreciated.A few things future guests should know. The home does not have A/C, so it can be warm when you first arrive. Opening the windows and running the ceiling fans creates a nice cross-breeze. Unfortunately, two of the three upstairs bedroom windows had broken cranks during our stay, so they couldn't be opened at night. The exterior could use a little attention, including pruning some overgrown shrubs and reinforcing sections of the deck railing. We also had a couple of maintenance issues. The hot tub was unusable when we arrived due to stale-smelling water and took a few days to get back in service. The dishwasher was also broken during our stay and ultimately needed replacement. That said, the owner was responsive, communicative, and quick to address the issues we encountered. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and feel this is a great property with amazing views and plenty of space, though a few maintenance items need attention.
