Very cozy and clean. It was fully stocked with everything that you can want or need. Communication was excellent and above and beyond with accommodations.

We had a spectacular stay! The house was beautiful and was equipped with everything you could imagine. The views of the mountain from the front deck and hot tub were phenomenal. The house comfortably slept 8 adults and was in impeccable condition. We were in Windham for a wedding but took advantage of the local golf course and the quaint town. I would come back again during Fall foliage! An overall wonderful experience.

Super-clean large property that would be perfect for large groups. The kitchen was massive and pretty high-end. The pots and pans, however, were really lacking, and I struggled with using what was there. That’s really the only complaint about the property. Views were stunning. Close enough to walk to town, although nothing was actually open during our stay. Hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking.

Perfect place for a large group - the kitchen in particular is huge and unlike many other rentals I’ve been to, well-equipped does actually mean well-equipped. Beautiful surroundings as well.

Fantastic stay

Beautiful house and location, owner spared no expense remodeling this home. Plenty of room to spread out, owner was a pleasure to work with and accommodating to our schedule. We will definately stay here again, felt like a Gilboa class of 77 reunion.

Weekend getaway

Unbelievable property!! Gorgeous house and location, beautifully renovated home, walking distance to downtown Windham - all the bars and restaurants. Views spectacular and hot tub was awesome. Definitely coming back soon !!

Perfect Winter Getaway

This house was so perfect for my girlfriends and I who are celebrating one of our 50th birthdays! The house is so clean and comfortable, and it is minutes from stores and shops and restaurants. We would definitely come back!

Fun girls weekend

Mini girls trip to celebrate a friend. House was beautiful and very well stocked with supplies. Beautiful kitchen. Hot tub was amazing. Wonderful shops in close range. Definitely recommend and will be returning in the future.

Great house! Awesome time

I stayed at The Mountain House with a group of friends for my 27th birthday. We had a fantastic time. The house has the perfect location - Just a few minutes from Windham and right off the main road with stores and restaurants. Tara was a very helpful and gracious host and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She even provided reccomendations of things to do in the area. Also - the hot tub was awesome!

Perfect Weekend!!

Our family recently stayed at The Mountain House for a long weekend. The place was great and I would highly recommend it. The house was as described, convenient location and very comfortable for us. The hot tube was clean and worked perfectly. We also enjoyed the large deck and yard, that our son especially liked playing in. The host was easy to contact and responded quickly. We really enjoyed staying there and would definitely return.

Summer hiking getaway

Great house for several couples or families to share. Our hiking getaway was enhanced by staying at this beautifully updated, cozy and comfortable home. Very clean and well stocked! Plush towels, gorgeous kitchen with everything you need to cook meals, as well as double ovens & two refrigerators (not to mention a wine cooler). Beautiful fireplace and comfy couch. Even spotted a bear in the neighborhood! Loved our stay - we’ll be back.

Great house!

Beautiful house, really well stocked and great vibe. Everything worked, even the generator kicked in right away when the power went out to the whole area. Loved it. Also super easy to contact when we locked ourselves out. I also appreciated how easy they make the check out. If only the weather would have been better!

Girls weekend

I stayed here with a handful of friends for my birthday, and this place was perfect. The kitchen is stunning and was beyond well-stocked, the bed was one of the most cozy I've ever slept in, and the hot tub was perfect. It was also a nice short and easy walk into town. The place was very clean, but a few areas could use a better wipe down. As mentioned above, the beds were wonderful but very bright in the morning. The two upstairs rooms did not have blinds.We all talked about how we wanted to make staying here a yearly tradition.

terrific 4 day family reunion weekend

6 of us came from AZ & MN and the house was great. only sort of negative was the 4th bedroom. very tight space, not room for suitcase so had to sleep upstairs and have clothes downstairs.kitchen table light needs lightbulb, lamps in bunk room don't work. the hot tub was thoroughly enjoyed. wish we could have stayed longer to utilize all the kitchen offered. great communication, easy access to wonderful house. deer and moon/stars were vadded bonus thank you!

Wonderful Weekend

Wonderful weekend! Host was very responsive with a couple of small issues. There were ample towels available as well as shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathrooms. There were also some spices and condiments available - left behind by other guests. The house had Sonos speakers in the kitchen and living area. The living space was full of light!All in all, a very comfortable and convenient house. Recommended!

AMAZING!!!

This house was so perfect and we could not have asked for a better place to stay in this charming little town. The house was clean and in great condition. We loved the hot tub and it was a nice added bonus in the snow and cold weather. Plenty of placed to eat and drink, and very close to Windham Mountain. The property managers were easy to communicate with. Book this house!! You will LOVE it!!!
