Great place to stay and close to the beach. They had beach chairs and toys. The hosts are fantastic. We would absolutely stay there again.

"Brian and his family were a pleasure to communicate with throughout their stay. However, the property required significantly more cleaning than usual after their checkout. We are grateful that Brian was responsive and transparent about the situation. Because of Brian's communication with us, we were able to resolve the issues with some extra effort. With a bit more attention and communication during checkout, we would be happy to host Brian's family again."

The setting and price for our family holiday stay were very nice. We wanted a clean, spacious home within steps of the beach. The home gave us access to all of this. The host was also very responsive.At times, however, it seemed as if the communication was almost prescient. For example, I mentioned to my family that I had forgotten my iphone charger, and I received an email that spare chargers were in the drawer. After my stepdaughter arrived for dinner with her friends, I received a reminder that we only had 2 parking spaces. On New Year’s Eve, I received a message, saying “it looks as if” we had 3 additional guests. Specifically, the host mentioned that the image on the Ring camera suggested the presence of a baby or a pet. We did have two over-night guests; we didn’t want the young drivers on the road on a night known for drunk driving.I understand the caveats of being a guest, and I agreed to them. However, it was a bit disconcerting to feel as though our moves were being monitored. We did not rent the home in order to throw a raucous party. We hosted a quiet dinner for a college-age student who wanted to break bread with her family and friends before returning to classes. The 20-year-old in our group brought an inflatable bed to sleep in the living area for 1 night, so as not to disturb my 80-year-old mother. At no time did we exceed the guest limit of 6.We left the house in good order. The host's numerous questions made the trip less relaxing than we hoped.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for acknowledging the home’s location, cleanliness, and proximity to the beach. We’re glad those aspects of your stay met your expectations. We would like to provide additional context for future guests reading this review. Our communication during your stay was not proactive monitoring, nor was it based on listening to conversations or tracking guest activity. All exterior security devices are clearly disclosed in the listing, and they are reviewed only when an automated system alerts us to a potential issue. In this case, repeated alerts from the electronic entry system indicated a mechanical jam, which required us to verify access and ensure the security of the home. At that time, we observed indications that reservation details may not have aligned with what had been confirmed through the platform. Several messages sent both prior to arrival and during the stay requesting clarification went unanswered. When reservation information later differed from what had been agreed to, we followed VRBO guidance to contact the guest directly in an effort to resolve the matter without escalation. So the VRBO rep called the guest with us on the line. Our concern was never about hosting family, having visitors for dinner, or the nature of the gathering. It was limited to ensuring compliance with the booking terms regarding overnight occupancy and parking, which exist to protect the property, neighbors, and all guests equally. We strive to be responsive, respectful, and accommodating with every guest, and our history of positive reviews reflects that commitment. We regret that our efforts to address unanswered questions and ensure clarity felt intrusive, as our intent was simply to manage the home responsibly and professionally. We appreciate the feedback and will continue to refine our pre-arrival communication to help ensure expectations are clearly aligned in advance.

After being apart of the foster care community for over 19 years, starting as a foster home, & serving over 61 children, in 13 of the 19 years. Then serving over 13,000 children in the 17 of 19 of those years, in the Northeast Florida foster care system, as a nonprofit called Foster Closet Corp.

We have since retired as a foster home and with ALL our children grown, John and I wanted to have a home to retreat to at the beach. We also wanted to share our love of our Northeast FL beaches with others who need a getaway as well. Since we have adopted a child needing the help of a wheelchair, we have made our home available for those in need.

Our guest will have a one-of-a-kind experiences which shares our knowledge of the beach community, on-location beach photo shoots, personal chefs, surf lessons, with so many memories to take home. We will offer dates of local beach events and beach restaurants that are our local favorites.

Book your stay today in our modern, coastal-style, 3 story condo/townhome in a desirable area in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Dip you toes in the Atlantic Ocean, just steps away! This lovely beach home totals 1,992 square feet & comfortably sleeps up to six with 2.5 bathrooms, plus offers free 300 Mbps WiFi & Smart TVs on each level.

On our 1st floor you will find a cozy living room with a smart TV, foldout full queen size bed, an Infinity Game table, queen Murphy bed, walk-in shower/bathroom with vanity.

In 1st floor’s walk-in closet We have a remarkable coffee/ tea bar with all the “fix’ns. It also has a toaster oven, microwave, plates, cups and plastic wear. Fun sea shell craft to leave us your artwork to remind us of your stay.

A small refrigerator in closet on the first floor, with wheelchair ramp & wheelchair of needed. Our beach closet as well, with beach chairs, beach cart, 2 beach cruisers, Bluetooth boombox, beach toys, tennis racquets & balls, beach game & two beach tents.

A full size laundry room with full size washer/dryer and utility sink awaits your stay, with all you need to do your laundry.

The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, with two walk-in closets. The ensuite bathroom has a large, double-headed shower and double vanities.

On the condos third floor, you will find a wonderful living/ dining / 1/2 bath & full-size cooks kitchen the spices & oils provided. Enough plates and serving utensils for six. Single or carafe coffee maker with everything you need . Full size refrigerator with water provided & icemaker, Wine, glasses, & cocktail glasses as well. Pots and pans & serving dishes. There is a full size pantry.

3rd floor balcony has ocean views where you can sip your coffee from the balcony bar & 2 stools.

Families, couples, friends, or business professionals needing a quiet retreat will find the home provides everything for a relaxing and fun visit. Stay & explore in our quaint Jacksonville Beach.
