Beautiful place to stay and relax. The cabin is so clean and inviting. The king-size bed is very comfortable and plenty of extra blankets and pillows are provided for your comfort. I think the power had gone off before we got there because the door code given didn’t work. I messaged our host and he immediately phoned me (which I thought was wonderful). He stayed on the phone with me until the problem was taken care of, which wasn’t long at all. We enjoyed our coffee in the mornings sitting out on the back covered porch. Our little chihuahua loves that porch. We saw several deer and plenty of rabbits! We stayed three nights and would have loved to have stayed longer. We have been visiting Meadows of Dan for six years and love exploring all the businesses in the area. Staying in these cabins is one of the highlights of the trip.

There’s about 10 of them that look like this all together. Very old, and very cozy! When I first walked in trying to find the lights all the floors creaked. Love it!They are fully stocked on everything. Especially for cooking which we planned on. Very pleased, and it’s VERY clean.

The cabin was very nice. The only trouble we experienced was when we arrived at about 345. We had absolutely no cell service no phone service. Nothing to get us into the house fortunately, the girl that does the cleaning stop by and was able to get us into the house and she contacted her mother who came down and after that everything was fine we enjoyed our visit.

This property was perfect for us. We were traveling with our dog, and while other cabins were pet friendly, some had high fees. This cabin welcomed us and our dog with no fees. They even had pet bowls available. The property was well maintained and was mowed and trimmed while we were there. The cabin was furnished and decorated nicely and was well stocked with the necessities for cooking. Extra TP, paper towels, and trash bags were handy as we stayed for 2 weeks. And while we shopped several times for food, we didn't have to worry about those items. We found it very clean and organized.The cabin community is convenient to Meadows of Dan, Mabry Mill, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Stuart, and of course the incredible Primland Resort and Highlands Golf Course. We even took several trips to Mt. Airy, NC. Don't miss the Poor Farmers Market in Meadows of Dan, or the Blue Ridge Music Center along the BR Parkway. Get there early for live music.The host was helpful and very easy to reach. Very good communication before and during our stay. He made us feel welcome and safe with a custom door code. Well done Jake. Thanks for the great stay.
