We loved our stay in this house. It was a charming place just off of Nelson 151 that was perfect for our trip. I would stay there again. The house had amazing views and was very well appointed. It was as advertised, but the stairs to the place and the spiral staircase to the upstairs might be difficult for some. We loved it!

We had a wonderful stay with Lofty Pursuits. The mountain views from the home were beautiful and we found ourselves just sitting and enjoying it. The stars at night were just breath taking from the window views and from the deck. The home was cozy and beautifully decorated. The hosts have created a wonderful space to relax and enjoy family time. They provided some great recommendations for places to visit in their portal. We spent time at the local breweries and driving Skyline Drive. The hosts worked with us to add an additional night to our stay because we were not ready to leave this wonderful location. We are already planning another visit.

I loved staying in a treehouse with a great mountain view. The property is beautiful, and the view is spectacular. The hosts have every detail in place--I appreciate that the property and business are woman-owned. We are definitely coming back!!

The house designer and interior decorator did a great job. The use of space was very good. Wintergreen needs a bus system to transport their guests around the resort.

Excellent stay at Lofty Pursuits - great location and family-friendly

We had a wonderful stay at Lofty Pursuits. The home was spacious, clean, well maintained, and very cozy for our family. The location was excellent, with easy walking access to the ski lift, which made skiing with kids much easier. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and matched expectations. We really appreciated the smooth experience and would gladly stay again.

Hosts were responsive, the location was three houses away from Big Acorn ski lift and the views were incredible. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will be back in the future.

Super location and the host was so very helpful and responsive! Easy access to slopes and general store, shops and restaurants. Plus, an incredibly beautiful home with stunning views. Very clean. Well stocked kitchen. We will definitely be returning.

Simply delightful. Aside from the astounding views, all of the furniture and kitchen supplies were of great quality. The location was ideal. We loved every minute of our stay and would go back again. Can’t forget to mention how comfy the beds were (softest linens) and we used the fireplace the whole stay which was extra special!!

Great place for the family

Such a cute cabin. Beautiful view of the mountains and sunset. Very close to the slopes. Great setup for a family, lots of sleeping space and bathrooms. Only minor complaint was the cleanliness, some footprints on floor when we got there and the dishes didn’t appear completely clean. Nothing major but that would have made the stay better. We did have some questions while there and the staff was extremely responsive.

From the moment we entered “Lofty Pursuits,” we knew we had reserved just the right place for our mini-vacation. The views, furnishings, cleanliness, and location were perfect. We came to relax, not ski, and we loved our five days. In summary, this was a truly cozy place to stay!One thing to note: Entry to the house requires a number of stairs, so keep that in mind. This is true of many Wintergreen homes.

As a family that has stayed in many VRBO properties over the years, we can confidently say that Lofty Pursuits was one of the better stays we’ve had at Wintergreen.The location is a huge advantage, especially for families — being within walking distance to the ski lift made a big difference for us. With kids, avoiding extra loading/unloading and parking is a major plus, and it made getting everyone to the slopes much easier.The home itself was exactly what you want in a ski property: spacious, clean, well maintained, and cozy. We had plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and the layout worked well for a family. The home was very clean when we arrived, and it was clear the property is well cared for.As seasoned VRBO renters, we also really appreciate when a property matches the listing and feels thoughtfully set up for guests — and Lofty Pursuits delivered on that. It made for a smooth, comfortable stay from start to finish.After a full day outside, it was the perfect place to come back to and relax. It had a warm, comfortable mountain-home feel that made the trip even more enjoyable for both adults and kids.Overall, Lofty Pursuits checked all the boxes for our family — excellent location, comfortable and inviting space, and a smooth, enjoyable stay. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to other families visiting Wintergreen.

Amazing and relaxing treehouse cabin with beautiful views and sunsets.

We arrived to the cabin which is like a fabulous tree house. The kitchen had everything we needed. The swivel chairs were very comfortable for reading. The fireplace worked great and a ton of wood was supplied right outside the front door. The views were amazing and the sunsets fabulous. The King bed was very comfortable and the master bathroom was awesome. Many bath towels were provided. Sheets were super soft. The washer and dryer worked well. We can't wait to come back!
