This was an amazing place to stay, very quite and relaxing during the shoulder season. the Dock access was amazing and able to keep a boat in the slip overnight. The Onsite boat ramp was a little questionable so we decided to put the boat in at Shawnee Bend Access point, 10 min down the road and that worked great! great place to stay and will be back again..

Very nice house in a good location. The property had everything. It was the best equipped house we have ever seen. Communication with the host was also top notch. They notified us a day ahead with entry instructions and did the same with exit instructions. We don’t have to look up anything. Plenty of parking, a large dock, and lots of shade. It’s also nice that you can drive to the front door. Loading and unloading are much easier. A good find.

House was well cleaned. Plenty of coffee and all your preferences for the coffee, ie creamer, sugar, Splenda, sweet and low etc. Great view of the lake being the house is right on the shore line! Fast Internet access. The boat dock/slip was great for my Sun Tracker Fishing Barge 22 DLX. With that being said it was also difficult to get my boat backed down the ramp with the length of my boat and the length of my 1997 F350 Crew Cab long bed. Would work perfect for smaller truck and bass boat. All-in-all it was a great time and still a wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful lake setting, but we booked this home for a friend’s 60th birthday specifically for the kayaks, firepit, and reported cleanliness (I have severe allergies). None delivered.- No kayaks. The listing and arrival email promise two. There were none, so the birthday guest never got on the water.- The firepit warped on first use, sagging and tipping with burning logs at the edge. Unsafe to use again.- The bathtub had what looked like mold in a corner, running about 6 inches up the wall, plus soap scum streaked to the drain. Too dirty to use.- The living room air vent was caked with dust that wiped off with a napkin.- The second bedroom ceiling fan/light didn’t work and made a grinding noise.- I paid for a life jacket rental and never got a confirmation or delivery.Safety: The house isn’t marked or visible from the road, and the main door is hard to find after dark. The long, steep steps to the dock have no handrails and are poorly lit at night. Use caution if you have mobility or balance concerns.We reported everything during our stay, with photos, so it could be fixed. We got “passed to the team” replies, then a request for a 5-star review after checkout. Nothing was repaired, and as of 10/27/26 mid morning, (3 days after checkout) nothing has been resolved.Pretty spot, but don’t count on the listed amenities, and arrive in daylight.
