We’re just 5 miles from Lock Haven University, near ATV trails, boat launches, the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, and conveniently between State College and Williamsport.
A quiet hideaway where you can truly relax and recharge!
The space
Your own 2 bedroom apartment above a garage, not part of the main house.
Guest will have a separate second floor entrance away from the main house.
Providing all the comforts of home.

Depending on the season, you may need 4 wheel drive to get to our guest house. The driveway is lane and our location is on top of a mountain. Secluded, clean, comfortable 2nd floor apartment and yours for your stay. Special rates for our guests that stay a week or longer. Great for remote working or finding yourself again. Break away from the norm.
Other things to note
To ensure our guests are comfortable, this property only accommodates a max of 4 individuals and is suited for adults and well-behaved children. Due to a large flight of steps no small children allowed. Breathe easy and know that smoking, vaping, and ALL animals are strictly prohibited at this property. See additional House Rules for more info.
RENTAL AGREEMENT:
When requesting to book, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, & agreed to all provided info. This includes listing details, House Rules, Fees/ Charges, Cancellation Policy, & VRBO Ground Rules for Guests. Primary guest is responsible for all actions and damages from members of their group, their own personal property, & their preferred travel insurance policy. Violations of House Rules may result in immediate termination of reservation without refund and/or additional charges which you agree to be responsible for.

Welcome to Bear Den Guesthouse. We love working and playing in the outdoors - skiing, kayaking, hiking, gardening or just driving around PA.
Perché ha scelto questa struttura
Brian and Lorie your hosts came across this property for their family and friends to enjoy in 2025. It is an amazing spot just 10 minutes from Lock Haven and centrally located between Williamsport and State College. There is a lot to do in the area... hiking, atv trail riding, rail trails, PA Grand Canyon, little league baseball, hunting, fishing and much more.

The view is what took our breath away. It's been amazing to wake up and look out over the valley at the ever changing view and animal friends - bear, deer, turkey, fox, birds and animals of all kinds.
And yet be only 10 minutes away from restaurants and grocery stores.
