Questa baita rustica è il perfetto rifugio nel nord del Michigan per te. È rustico, ma pulito e confortevole. Ti sentirai come se fossi "a nord". La cabina si trova su 203 piedi di facciata isolata. Non ci sono case direttamente a sud e una barriera boscosa a nord. Gran parte del litorale opposto non è sviluppato. Al mattino sentirai i lunatici sul lago. Godrai di splendide viste sul lago durante il giorno e in quelle notti estive illuminate dalla luna.

Oltre alla bella facciata, ci sono diversi campi da golf, ristoranti, cantine e negozi caratteristici nelle vicinanze. Traverse City è a soli 40 minuti e Charlevoix è a soli 20 minuti.

Il lago intermedio è un lago per tutti gli sport. Il lago è lungo sei miglia e offre una pesca eccellente per la piccola bocca, la grande apertura, il walleye, il luccio e il panfish. Inoltre, offre ottime attività di sport acquatici. È il lago più meridionale della catena superiore dei laghi. Questo lago si riscalda molto più velocemente di alcuni dei laghi più grandi circostanti. Funziona parallelamente al lago di Torch. Il lago Torch è elencato come uno dei laghi più belli del mondo.

Questa proprietà ha una piattaforma da bagno, un bel molo stabile, mobili da giardino, tavolo da picnic e un pozzo del fuoco. Una barca a remi è disponibile per gli ospiti. Abbiamo un'ottima spiaggia con molta sabbia per i bambini. Il fondo del lago è sabbioso senza settimane. La spiaggia offre un graduale rientro. Il fondo è profondo 5 'alla fine del dock (72 piedi fuori). Tutto sommato, offre un ottimo nuoto per i bambini. Siamo spiacenti ma gli animali non sono ammessi.

Questa barca è una macchina da pesca con portacanne scozzese, vive bene, ponte di lancio e molte altre fantastiche opzioni. Inoltre, abbiamo kayak disponibili per il noleggio. Great location

We really enjoyed relaxing by the lake and spent more time than planned watching the boats pass by. It's a well maintained cabin with good beds, a decent kitchen, and a screened porch facing the lake. The warm sandy beach was a big plus.

Absolutely Divine!

This property is so well done. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is it. Equipped kitchen, 3 BRs, extra blankets (thank you!), updates throughout, and a fabulous screened in patio, perfect for morning coffee. This is, by far, our favorite vacation home and we are already planning for next year!

BEAUTIFUL LAKESIDE CABIN

My wife and I stayed at Todd and Julie's cabin for a week. There were as many as six adults staying at any one time. It was spacious enough for all of us to relax in. The property is very quiet with a beautiful view of Intermediate Lake. There is a nice outdoor sitting area around a firepit. It was very clean with all the basic amenities. There is only one bathroom, and the hot water heater has a limited capacity. So some coordination is needed as far as shower use. There is no washer/dryer, but a laundromat is located close by in Bellaire. Although the cabin is somewhat secluded, Bellaire is just down the road. We enjoyed breakfast at The Lunch Box restaurant and coffee at M88 Morning Grind. Short's Brewery is very well known. A large Family Fare supermarket is within a few minutes' drive. Todd is an excellent communicator and promptly answered questions before and during our stay. I recommend this vacation cabin very highly for a family stay as well as for just adults who want a quiet, peaceful lakeside cabin experience.

Relaxing fishing trip!

Nice home. Probably in need of minor updates. Owner was very responsive to questions, We had to supply our own bedding and towels. We were not aware that the home has a 36” wide shower stall only. We are all over 6 ft tall. Kind of a deal breaker for a return trip. Great Lake frontage, close to town. Overall a nice time! Slept well!

Perfect Summer Getaway - location, location, location...

We were looking for a beach house to spend a week kayaking, paddle boarding & hiking. This location was perfect. Great sandy beach, beautiful lake connected to the chain of lakes, close to Bellaire with great food & drinks and close to Glacial Hills (excellent and well-marked hiking trails). It's also the perfect spot to sit and read a book and relax. Tucked away right off of M-88 in a lovely location with plenty of space for our vehicle loaded with kayaks & bikes. Very private. The firepit at night was a real treat in the cool evenings and the moon over the lake from the end of the dock - well, it was just spectacular. Todd was responsive and provided clear instructions pre-visit and during our stay. The lake house was exactly as described, rustic (super charming) and extremely clean. I can't think of one thing I would change from this trip. We would love to visit again as our calendar allows.

Excellent Location

Location is nicely situated about 3 miles north of Bellaire just off M-88 directly across from boat launch. Spent a week golfing and fishing. Plenty of courses nearby to choose from. Caught 6 different species of fish but nothing big enough to write home about. Loved the fire pit at night. You could tell that the owners put a lot of TLC into their home and grounds. All in all a very memorable stay.

Great Place!

I only gave this 5 stars because 10 weren't available. The cabin was super clean, quiet and private. The owners were very nice easily accessible and wonderful to work with. If your looking for a Northern MI lake cabin this is the place to be! Can't wait to come back soon.

Great get away

Enjoyed our time at this quaint log cabin. The location is awesome. Very private lakefront home. Just 3 miles from downtown Bellaire with cute shops , Shorts Brewery, great bakery, ice cream shop, etc. Just a 15 minute ride to Dockside Inn on Torch Lake. While fishing wasn’t great, there is a lot of water to fish in. The boat launch is right across the lake from the cabin. Todd was great to communicate with . We plan to return

Gorgeous view and property!

We had an amazing time at the cottage. The view of the lake is spectacular. Cottage has lakeview from back bedroom, living room, enclosed porch, dining room and kitchen! So relaxing to be able to watch the water throughout the day. There are so many amazing things about the cottage that I don't know where to start! The owners attention to detail is magnificent. A little shelf here, a hook there - so many places to "put" things which really is handy! The enclosed porch is phenomenal. Can sit and enjoy the water without worrying about bugs! The fire pit and set up is also out of this world. Dock is great. Beach is great. Everything so tastefully picked out! So close to Bellaire as well! Also, super private. The yard is just gorgeous, too! We would come back in a heartbeat. We just loved it and Todd is amazing to work with. He really made sure that we had everything that we needed. Can't recommend it enough!

We absolutely love staying here, the property is secluded, the beach and swim dock is amazing. Fishing on the lake is incredible lots to see and do. It’s a tough place to leave, but glad we can take our memories with us. This is not a 5 star hotel, this is a quaint home with parts of the house that us over 6 feet have to duck under or hit our head, the shower stall is small for us bigger fellas, the house can get damp on very humid days. But my family absolutely loves it… late nights by the fire pit and early morning fishing…

Bellaire Getaway

We just returned from a great week long stay at this. It's obvious that the owner takes pride in the property, it is very well maintained and clean. Todd was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The setting on the lake was truly a great experience, and would have been better had the fish cooperated.. The cabin is clean and well stocked. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful Fall Getaway

We absolutely enjoyed our stay!! The cabin was clean and cozy and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed! Although the weather was rainy and chilly and the fish weren’t biting, we enjoyed going out on the boat and admiring the beautiful fall trees around the lake. The owners of the property were wonderful! They let us know what to expect when we got there and how to work everything and also checked to make sure that we were enjoying our stay. We loved the little town of Bellaire, where everyone we met was so friendly. We definitely recommend Shorts Brewery for their craft beer and food! We hope to be back sometime soon.

Perfect Northern Michigan Getaway

We really enjoyed our vacation at this property. The cabin and outdoors were exactly as described in the listing. There were very few bugs outside which was awesome! The fire ring was perfect for roasting marshmallows and enjoying an adult beverage. Charcoal grill was clean upon arrival and worked great. There was ample outdoor seating. Cabin conditions were cozy and very clean. I was not sure what to expect during covid and it far exceeded my expectations. We rented the boat and kayaks. The boat ran great and the kayaks were fun for the kids to use! Todd had nicely combed the beach area prior to arrival and our 18 month old loved playing in the sand and the shallow water. My 7 and 11 year olds loved jumping off the swimming deck! Todd was super responsive to all questions prior to arrival and checking in to the property was seamless. Due to covid we made almost all meals at the cabin and it had all the pots and pan and utensils we could possibly need. We had no issues at all with swimmers itch. Cabin had amazing WiFi and while it had air conditioning we did not use it once as the temps were cooler the week we were there. Despite temperatures in the 70s and 80s lake temperature was extremely warm allowing the kids to be able to swim all days. All in all a perfect vacation and we’d consider coming back in the future!

Great property and manager!

We truly enjoyed our week-long stay at this cabin. 1.) The location is great. Feels like you are fairly isolated which is hard to find in a lake property where so many cabins are built almost on top of each other. It is very quiet at night. It is also close to the town of Bellaire which was great place to go for supplies and enjoy the best the town has to offer (Toonies Restaurant and Shorts Brewery are our favorites). 2.) The property itself is clean and well-maintained. Great spot for families/kids to enjoy their own private beach. We liked being able to secure our boat on the very nice dock; and also taking our kayaks in this lake! Lots of wildlife to see. A bald eagles nest is seen across the lake, there are fish, crawfish, turtles, swans, loons and ducks frequently visited us. There was also ample space to park our truck and trailer as well as 2 cars. 3.) There is a great fire pit with ample chairs to enjoy the stars at night. We were able to see some of the meteor shower visible the week we were there. 4.) The cabin itself can get warm during the hottest days but with ceiling fans in the main room and larger bedroom and fans in the other 2 bedrooms we were not too uncomfortable. Things cooled off at night when we were there. This is a place where I would hope you spend most of your time outdoors anyways! 5.) While the cabin has a rustic feel to it (real log cabin), it is nicely decorated, feels homey, and well-maintained by the owners . The Internet WiFi worked excellent. We never turned the television on so don't know about that. The shower is quite small but for a week not a deal breaker! The coffee maker has seen its best days and could be replaced sooner than later. Kitchen was stocked with all we needed. 6.) Upon our 1st day we encountered a problem and the owner was immediately responsive to my text, and personally worked to resolve the issue expeditiously with tremendous kindness. We hope to return to this property sooner than later!

Great family getaway!

Our family really enjoyed this lakefront cabin! We also rented the fishing boat and enjoyed hours on the water fishing and boating. The water itself is clean and clear; we swam in the water and didn’t experience any “swimmers itch” but we played it safe and did a good job rinsing off after each swim. The beach was great for our little one and then the fire pit was relaxing after he went to bed. The cabin itself was very cozy, clean, and had all the amenities you would need. The owners were great at communicating and we felt well prepared for our trip. We ventured off to local towns and enjoyed discovering new coffee shops, restaurants, and visiting with the locals. The weather wasn’t ideal at times, but the cabin made our days inside more than manageable. We would highly recommend this property for families and are discussing the possibility of renting this cabin for next year!

We purchased this property in 2004. At the time, many would have torn it down. We rebuilt it from the ground up. We bought this with the intent of using it someday. While we rent it, most everything we take in is put back into updates of some kind. We constantly get compliments on our improvements. My wife and I do all the turn over and bookings as we take huge pride in the place.

The property is in a great location. Located just north of Bellaire in northwest Michigan is huge. Charleviox, Traverse City and Petoskey are all very close.

Peaceful, tranquil and private. It's like being in some remote setting in the Upper Peninsula. Due to to lack of cottages across the lake and south there is almost NO light pollution. The stars are incredible!
