Location is great! Not as secluded as the pictures make it look, but certainly not in a high-traffic area. The home was clean. It could use a good refresh though. New sheets and towels would make a huge difference. There is ample space. While there is no access to the basement from the main house, to us that was a bonus.

We had a wonderful time! The property was so beautiful and peaceful by the creek. We even had hummingbirds come visit the feeder.

The hosts were great! Robbyn was extremely helpful in every way! The home was very dated but clean and cozy. Could use some air purifiers. The balcony was amazing and we spent most of our time there listening to the running water of the creek from the hot tub. We also had a fun time tubing in the creek. Beds slept well but some softer sheets might be a good idea. The driveway honestly gave me anxiety but we made it in and out after some trial and error. The kitchen was equipped with all utensils needed for cooking. They definitely need a new grill! Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

The first thing we noticed when we arrived was the drive way, ruff and steep. You may need a 4x4. The pictures do not show how old and run down the property is. For a men’s fishing cabin it would be ok but for a family getaway I don’t recommend it.The cost does not reflect the facilities.

Enjoyed the cabin with all the entertainment and proximity to shooting creek. Had a great weekend with my brothers! We will definitely be going back for another trip. We had a great time!

The description did not allude that the two downstairs bedrooms were not accessible through the main house. The yards needing attention otherwise we enjoyed our stay and loved sitting listening to the water running by from the porch.

The host was responsive.If our group had been an all guys fishing trip it would have been ok.We were three senior couples. Cons: The driveway was 60 degree angle climb/decent. The online description of where certain size beds are vs bathrooms was not what was actual so the description needs to be updated on VRBO. The jute box did not work. The terrace or basement level that was two of the bedrooms and one bath is not accessible from inside the house.Parking was tight and turn around to get back up the driveway was difficult, especially in wet weather. Bring bottled water as the faucets had a pretty strong sulfur taste and oder.Pros: the covered back porch that overlooked the river was wonderful which is where we took our meals. The AC works really good. The dishes, pans, utensils etc were well stocked. The bedding and towels were clean. Even though we didn't get into the hot tub..I was impressed that it was set up to manage itself keeping the water warm. I usually post good reviews. But for the price per night, this cabin was disappointing.

We enjoyed our stay for the most part. The cabin was clean and welcoming on the inside. The cabin’s grounds needed care! Looked like the yard had not been mowed in a month or 2. All the bed mattresses are old and worn out. The master bathroom does not have a shower like listed. The only shower on the upper level is in the hall bathroom. The cabin’s location is close to Hayesville NC and Hiawassee GA. That was very nice and convenient. We enjoyed the creek, but the hot tube was loud and we couldn’t hear the wonderful sounds of the water.The 2 lower level bedrooms are only accessible on the outside, no interior stairs. There is only one HVAC unit so the basement level was freezing. Might be nice for some, but our guest were cold. Communication with the host was pleasant and helpful. Overall the cabin was ok for a little getaway.

This cabin has so much potential. The creek is so beautiful and the deck is be a beautiful place to sit and listen to it. The home is quite cozy but it seems to be managed by a company that is trying to pinch every penny. When we arrived, the cabin smelled a bit like a musty basement but we got used to that, I guess. We quickly discovered that the downstairs is not accessible from inside the house which was not indicated at the time we booked it. Maybe that’s not a huge deal to some but this was a family trip for us and one of our kids had to sleep down there and, every night, had to go outside in the dark and/or the weather to get there. It felt very separated. Not a huge fan. The steps going down to it were mildewy and very slick. We also noticed that the water has this awful smell of rotten eggs! We waited to see if maybe just running the water for a bit would work it out but it did not. Also on Monday, a very noisy driveway paving project began (very much needed) which was very inconvenient and made our peace and quiet river getaway non existent. We should’ve been notified ahead of time When we reached out about our issues it took days to reach anyone and we felt like the issues were being minimized. Communication was absolutely terrible with this company. They said it was due to staffing issues.There were many other small things (gutters full, the property is almost completely over grown, broken doors) that just shows the lack of caring for this cute cabin.

Now that our three sons are grown and out of the home, we plan a family weekend every fall where we can all be together. This home was perfect for us. Each couple had their own bedroom, the deck was great for us to hang out and visit, the hot tub was a big hit as well as the game room, and the kitchen was well stocked for meal prep.

Peace and quiet

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this cabin . We spent many days floating in the creek and enjoying the peaceful sounds . The cabin itself is very nice and the management was easy to communicate with ! I would definitely stay again !!

Great family getaway

Great property. Upstairs was perfect for family time and downstairs for the younger adults who wanted to stay up late playing pool. Would have liked two extra high top chairs for dining table to seat all 6 of us.

A few Issues that Fitz (Richard) went to the extreme to make them right . He was very accommodating. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi and sound of the creek.The hummingbirds on the balcony was very active.

Relaxing

This was a very enjoyable stay. The hot tub by the running river was very relaxing. Furnishing and bed were very decorative and comfortable and everything we needed was provided within the cabin. Thank you!

The home was beautiful and very clean. The view from the deck was amazing. Was very peaceful sitting in the hot tub, listening to the creek. The ow ers answered all questions promptly.

Hats off to Mr. Fitz this was one of the best stays that I've had in a long time. The cabin was amazing it was very quiet and relaxing. It was everything that I was looking for perfect location for fishing and shopping for me with access to stores and activities. I would definitely stay again!! Loved the property. Definitely glad we brought the truck. Driveway was short and steep. Loved the owners. Very sweet and helpful.
