Our family stayed at Snug Harbor for over a week, and absolutely loved our stay. The views are spectacular, the house is nicely laid out, and very comfortable. Lots of seating on the decks so you can relax and enjoy the view. The first thing we noticed on arrival was how still and quiet the area was, which is exactly what we we looking for! Grocery stores and restaurants are only about 15 minutes away. Definitely 5 stars from my family

Beautiful views, great house and amenities! There were a lot of stairs down to the dock, but great access and swimming from the dock. Deep water keeps it very clear. Enjoyed our stay with 2 couples and our Pembroke Welsh Corgi pup. Rented a boat from Roscoe & Hooch for a couple days on the water and was very easy to get to and from the marina. Visit in early September after Labor Day.

Everything you see in the pictures is 100% accurate! This is a beautiful home, inside and out, with a spectacular lake view the moment you walk through the front door. The entire home was exceptionally clean and inviting. This dog-friendly home was so clean and fresh, you'd never guess other dogs had stayed there. Our Vizsla seemed to agree—she was far more interested in the wildlife outside! Although it was too cold for us to swim (props to the person we did see swimming!), we were pleasantly surprised that the dock was still right on the water despite the annual lake drawdown. We also loved Ghost & Grits restaurant and visited Panther Creek State Park twice to explore its many trails. Kristin was a wonderful host, providing timely information and responding promptly. We had a wonderful stay!

This is my 2nd time staying at the lake house. So peaceful and adorable. We love it. Very clean and well stocked. The host is wonderful. Great at communicating. Didn’t have and issues at all. The views are incredible. Make sure you wake up to catch the sunrise. It’s stunning.

The Host Kristin was very communicative and accommodating, a 10/10. The views of the lake are spectacular from the house and the back porch, 10/10. The house was very modern inside, comfy couch and chairs, cute decor and well stocked with some essentials in the kitchen. Just a couple watch outs, the driveway is a little steep and not much level ground. We had a camper van so had trouble finding a good way to park with a larger vehicle. If you are traveling with someone with mobility issues or elderly, the second bedroom is down some pretty steep stairs and the stairs and ramp to the dock are a hike, we called it Mount Snug Harbor after another traveler’s nickname (over 100 stairs). Overall a very nice lake house with amazing views of Cherokee Lake and a great host!

Beautiful lake views ! We enjoyed our quick getaway ! Comfortable space and beds ! The house was very clean ! The only issue we had was gnats ! They were pretty bad and we had to work extra hard to keep food covered etc . Not sure what caused it but noticed it was a problem . There were plug ins to help with the issue . This did not affect our stay as we had a wonderful time ! The host was quick to respond !

We had a great stay! Beautiful views, very clean house, responsive host, stocked kitchen utensils so cooking was nice and easy! Already planning our trip for next year!!! Highly recommend!!!!

The property was perfect. Very clean communication with the property. Owner was excellent. Very nice and easy to communicate with. The house is well stocked. It’s nicely updated and the view is amazing. We would get up to watch the sunrise and it was incredible.. booked future stays in this place already. Will be back again and again.

Wonderful property. Very clean & well stocked and cute! But the most impressive part is the view of the lake at sunrise. Stunning!! Communication was great. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this home for anyone visiting the area. You won’t be disappointed.

The property was beautiful and perfect for our family Christmas. We put a tree up and decorated the whole main floor, so that made it just like home. To top it off, it was 70 degrees in December, which is way better than the temps in Michigan. It was fully stocked with everything we needed to bake cookies and make meals. The stairs down to the lake are no joke, but once you get down there, its an amazing site. 2 of my kids did a cold plunge and loved it. Crazy kids! LOL! The driveway was a little steep for us Michiganders, but we had enough parking for all of us, so that was great. The only thing I wish wouldve been different, is the contact with the host. I had to send messages on here which took a while to get a response. I wouldve liked to have a cell number from the beginning, to be able to contact them and get a quick response. We had a couple things that came up, that needed a quick response (like the keypad on the door not working) and werent able to get an answer when needed. The host was very apologetic about the keypad when she seen the messages and had a remedy for us quickly. In saying all that, we would definitely stay at this property again and would recommend everyone to stay here.

There are ONLY positive things to say about this property. It was immaculate. Everything felt so thoughtful - very welcoming. The kitchen had every cookware, dish and serving tool you would need. If you are looking for peace and quiet - this property has it. If you are looking for adventure - this property has it. The view is stunning and not only can you see it from the two balconies; but also through the many windows while inside. There are a lot of steps to the lake, but there are sitting/viewing areas along the way to catch your breath and take in the view. Communication with the owner was excellent.
