Excellent location

Nice little condo with easy access to the beach. Very comfy bed and a/c worked well to keep us cool. The management company quickly replied to our needs like needing a new floor fan and kitchen dish clothes.

Kihei bay surf

The location of the property was just perfect for what me and my family were looking for. The whole week we had absolutely loved the location. Right across from the beach where we could enjoy early mornings and evenings with our toddler. My only complaint is the hot water running out quickly between myself my husband and our daughter we had to wait at least 15-20 minutes before getting more hot water so the next person could shower. Other than that we had an enjoyable stay and would definitely come back again.

Overall we had a good experience at this property. We did have to wash the dishes before using them, and the ice trays had brown stains in them. But overall it was a good place

Good location in Kihei

Really good location for Kihei, priced appropriately. Good use of space. Kitchen had what you needed (except a measuring cup). Bathroom Had lots of good fluffy towels, and was remodeled (nice shower). Clean but not hotel room clean, had some sticky corners, especially in the kitchen if that bugs you.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was quite a good vacation stay but was disappointed in some things. We had 3 of us. Two sets of towels were provided.. No bath mat. Closet was stuffed.. No room for hanging clothes. Bureau in the closet was very dusty. The dish rack did not have a bottom so we bought a tinfoil pan to put under it.Foor was very dusty like it wasn't cleaned right before we got there.Curtains also felt dusty. Parking was good. Sofa was placed with the side of it blocking the AC. Bed was very comfortable even if you had to climb up to get on it. Overall we enjoyed it. If we ever come back to Kihei we would come back there but would probably look at another unit.

It was clean, well maintained and beach access right across the street. Also a great centralized location if you plan activities all over the island. Not too far from many destinations.

Parking.

We enjoyed our stay and the place was perfect. However, we did run into some parking issues. The first 2 nights we were able to park in front of the unit. The rest of the time we were pushed out by visitors to other tenants. I believe assigned parking would make a big difference in making sure others don’t experience the same thing. Thank you for your time and we look forward to coming back soon. 😎

Property fulfills all our needs on Maui

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time we've stayed on this property and have enjoyed it both times. It fulfills our needs for the short time we get to vacation to Maui. We love the location, as it is steps away from the beach and a very short drive to restaurants and shopping. Property is very clean and inviting. We like staying in a smaller condo community, you can definitely feel the "aloha". Hopefully we will be able to return soon.

Definitely overpriced for what it was. It was a very very small studio. That said, it had everything you would expect it to have. I just wasn’t overly impressed. Plus, the location wasn’t my favorite.

frustrating booking experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After our rental was confirmed by VRBO we got notice from Kihei Bay Surf that we were required to fill out a long rental form initialing every other paragraph. Then we received notices that they hadn't received the required forms after we emailed them.This fiasco went on for 3 weeks. They also let us know that if we checked in early we would be charged an extra days rent. When we got there, our room wasn't made up, we had to stand in the parking lot while it was being cleaned. The manager lied 4to us, that the condo was left so filthy by the previous tenant that extra cleaning time was neede. We told her, that was untrue as we arrived 30 minutes prior to check in and the cleaning crew hadn't arrived. Rather than address this issue, the manager got irritateed with us and very upset that we might have illegally entered the condo before our scheduled time. She never apologized, she was very unfriendly. The condo was on the main road with a lot of traffic and a main view of the fencing and stacked tires across the street. The best thing about the condo is the shower which was exceotional and the location is very good.

It was smaller than I thought it would be. The couch was not located as shown on the picture and was outdated. Water pressure was good. Shower was good. Pool and hot tube were great. BBQ's were down for maintenance.

10 days in maui

We had a lovely stay in Kihei and toured the rest of the island from there. A somewhat dated but clean and comfortable efficency condo. They stocked it with some beach gear (towels, folding chairs, mini cooler, boogie board) which was great. We had a great time!board) which was wonderful.

Pretty Good Spot, Some Hard to Control Inconveniences

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The beach right across the street was easy to get to with long walkable stretches. The rental was well furnished though could do with updating its towels. The main discomforts were outside of the control of management, like neighbors smoking (even though it was posted everywhere that smoking was prohibited outside of designated areas) or traffic being loud since the lanai looks over the main road in Kihei. Again not a bad place but some things to keep in mind.

Reviewer Comments: #109 in Kihei Bay Surf was a nice, clean studio in a convenient location across the street from the Humpback Whale Foundation. Studio was well clean and exactly as shown. It is a ground floor studio and faces South Kiheo street so traffic noise is a bit loud but not too concerning. Pool and hot tub very nice with a bbq area as well. Studio was perfect for two people and could accomodate a small family (3) if needed. I would recommend this studio in Kihei but you do need a car to get to shopping, restaurants, other beaches and airport.

Great for the Price!

Overall solid property, place was clean enough however there were a handful of small things to take the star off. (Dead bugs in picture frames, mold in bathroom, very dusty curtains, questionable towels, etc). The location is solid if you have a car, however walkabilty is iffy in that side of Kihei. And the WiFi was spotty at times. But overall, pleased with the room for the price.

Kihei Bay Surf #109

Very comfortable, and well equipped. I would suggest a fan for the bathroom, but other than that things were great. Location across from Sandy Beach where sea turtles come in every night at sunset was amazing. Nice pool and hot tub. Affordable rates. I would stay there again.
