My husband and I booked the Ainsworth House for a short getaway trip and it was so incredibly charming and wonderful and, if ever in town again, we would probably stay here. We were so close to town that we walked everywhere, and with a kwiktrip so close by, we went out for some late night snacks which was just fun. The host was incredibly nice, responsive, and helpful leading up to and during our stay. We had some issues with power due to over-running the a/c and fans in the crazy heat, but the host was very quick to respond and helped us resolve the issue within the hour.

The Ainsworth house was an incredible place to land during my daughter’s auto transplant at UW medical hospital. We came out here from California for the surgery and needed a safe and clean place to stay. Evan and Zazuki the owners were absolutely incredible. They wanted our stay to be perfect and anytime we reached out, they were in touch with us immediately.The house itself was clean and as you can see from the pictures, the rooms are beautiful. My daughter needed to take walks after her surgery and a block and a half down the street is a beautiful little zen garden that somebody has built for the community. The town of Stoughton is adorable. We had a lot of fun browsing the shops. There’s a river walk close by that’s just beautiful. The house is in a historic neighborhood and the neighbors were lovely.The house has AC but it is not central AC. They have installed air conditioners in the bedrooms and at first I was worried that they wouldn’t be enough or they would be too noisy. As it turns out it was not a problem at all and the window AC downstairs, cooled the house to a more than comfortable temperature, and our stay was in the summer.I would have no hesitation to recommend this house for anybody looking for a great place to stay as a getaway, or because you’re having a surgery at UW Health hospital or visiting your loved ones at the university in Madison.Thank you Evan and Zazuki!

We.attended a.wedding in Madison over a long weekend. Being 20 minutes away in a quiet neighborhood was very relaxing. The house was built in 1886. It was nicely updated with a vintage charm including door knobs which open differently. The kitchen is updated. We made a big set of items with no trouble. The stairs are steep bathrooms were very responsive I'mupdated. We had a couple of questions. The hosts was
