The Space:

Plan a romantic retreat at this dog-friendly Sautee Nacoochee cottage nestled in the woods, complete with a luxurious hot tub, bedside Jacuzzi tub, wood-burning fireplace, and a nice screened-in deck with a BBQ.

This home is located near the small Southern town of Helen, GA, tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's plenty of hiking and outdoor recreation nearby, plus great water sports on the Chattahoochee River.

You'll enter through an adorable front porch, surrounded by lots of trees and beautiful scenery. Inside, you can enjoy quaint cabin charm with modern amenities and complimentary WiFi. The living space has comfy furnishings and a cozy wood-burning fireplace. In the kitchen, there are updated appliances for easy cooking, a nice table for romantic meals, and french doors out to the deck area.

Out on the deck, there's a gas grill, outdoor dining table, and a pair of rocking chairs for enjoying the outdoor scenery. The hot tub is also on the deck, where you can indulge in a relaxing soak after a day exploring the surrounding area.

With a comfortable king-size bed and full bathroom, this home will accommodate up to two guests and two dogs (for a small nightly fee). In the bedroom, you'll have a luxurious heart-shaped tub and a flatscreen TV with a DVD player for the ultimate romantic retreat.

Go on a hike on one of the local trails through the mountains, or head into town for delicious cuisine and amenities in downtown Helen. There are also great vineyards in the area for the wine fans out there, or mini golf in town for a family-friendly activity.

For outdoor recreation, the Chattahooche River is perfect for tubing, swimming, and fishing. Spot local wildlife at the Smithgall Woods Conservation Area, or go hiking at the Dukes Creek Falls Trail.

The management company (vacasa) was amazing. Quick to respond to any communication and one text that had all the info: address, door code, wifi password, etc made it easy to check in and find things without going to the app or dealing with a dozen messages. The place was clean, quiet and perfect for our anniversary.
