Glad the teens didn't revolt on you. We do have a signal booster, and your phone's hotspot can get you online and into your own accounts for entertainment. Some people don't let their kids know that, so they can have some time away from the devices! The mountains of Arkansas are quite different from Texas flatland, but we have a lot of guests from your neck of the woods. Hope you'll become one of returning families. Thanks for staying with us!

Glad you enjoyed our "little slice of heaven" and hope you'll return one day! There's nothing like a bit of solitude to restore your soul!

Thanks, Jaimie, for your enthusiastic review! We love hearing from happy guests that the cabin met all of their expectations, and then some. Do come back soon! October has two weekends still open if you're interested.

I love watching the deer myself, Adelita, and I've done my share of wading in the creek. Hope you'll come back soon!

Love to hear from our adventuresome guests who like to explore the property. Quite a few have found hidden caves and waterfalls. Hope you'll return and explore some more, Tony.

So glad you enjoyed the seclusion of Cave Creek Cabin. We've gone through more bar stools than you can imaging; finally just gave up! Ha! Ha! Maybe we'll give them another try. Bring your fishing gear and come back soon!

We are very disappointed to hear that this guest was not satisfied with the Cave Creek Cabin experience. We have described the cabin both in words and pictures with the most honest of intentions. We encourage you to read the other reviews. Seclusion, getting away from it all, being in a historic building with well cared for modern amenities are what we offer our guests. This is real nature, not a manicured garden spot off of a busy highway. Therein lies the beauty of Cave Creek Cabin, but beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Many of the pictures are taken from the front porch or from just in front of the cabin. Each season offers a different experience, and the prevailing weather also plays a big part in the experience at the tune at the time of your visit. I think the review is unfair, uses some strong assaulting words, and suggests that we have deceived our guests. We have had many satisfied repeat customers and all the quotes and feedback are unedited. We have continued to upgrade and regularly invest in keeping the cabin in top shape. Just this month we have done a full replacement of both central air conditioners, a substantial expense, but providing reliable climate control for our guests us our goal. Unless you have tried to build something like this in the country, you will unlikely appreciate the investment required to build and upkeep such a cabin. Our rates reflect what it takes to maintain this building and provide an enjoyable experience for the majority of our guests. Come visit Cave Creek Cabin, and if you are dissatisfied I invite you to call me, the owner, directly. Just ask for Jeff, and I will do everything possible to satisfy your needs.

Yes, Cave Creek Cabin is well worth the drive, isn't it? We hope you'll return soon. Watch for email when we make special offers. Thanks for staying with us!

I'm sorry you couldn't manage to get to the creek. I hope you were following the directions we post in our binder and not attempting to negotiate the rock firebreak to the SE of the cabin. The actual road picks up outside the gate and has never been an issue for our guests, although occasionally they've encountered a fallen tree blocking the way after a storm. A quick call to staff can usually handle that. There are seats for eleven in the den, but of course they aren't all big comfy upholstered chairs.

So glad you guys love the place and are coming back! Spread the word!
