Disappointed with the not "knowing before you go"

I booked in November for a March stay. I asked if we could get a upper floor with a balcony so that my 85 year old mother could sit outside and enjoy the sunshine/pool. I was told that neither could be guaranteed. We did get an upper floor but as far away from the picture located on VRBO as possible and no sun ever hit my mom's balcony. That was really the only reason I took her there - sunshine. Oh well, my fault and I will know better next time.

Hi Karen, we're very sorry to hear that the view and balcony were disappointing. In our ad, we do mention that the pictures may not be identical to the rooms our guests are assigned as we do not control the location of the villas, those are completed at check-in. However, our agent who handled your booking called twice and spoke with the resort in advance of your stay, and had been assured that they would do their best to accommodate your high-floor and pool view request. We were not aware you were also looking for a balcony that had more sunshine. Room locations and views are not guaranteed, but we did what we could to remind the resort of your requests. We apologize again for your disappointment and do hope you enjoyed your stay nonetheless.

The desert ridge villas are a great destinations. Beautiful property in a great location.

One huge problem was that there was not enough lounge chair seating around the pools. Pool area opened at 8 AM in by 8:15 AM every chair was taken each day.

The lack of seating at the pool might be due to current Covid restrictions, but is still good to be aware of and we can share that feedback with the property in case things can change. We had a wonderful stay at this spotless property. Everything about the property was exactly as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

Fantastic property, lovely area, fun for family!

Fantastic condo! Beautifully laid out, well kept, spacious. Our family of 7 stayed over spring break and had a wonderful time. The pool area is lovely, and we appreciated the additional access to the JW Marriot facility nearby. We had a great time playing pickle ball and basketball, and even grilled out a couple of times. We loved the location and will definitely stay again when we are back in the area!

Loved it! Great pools, super nice villa

We stayed for a week to play tennis and golf with another couple. With two bedrooms, we each got a master suite and the kitchen was handy for breakfast. We are foodies, so dined out most of the time. The amenities were super. Really good pool.
