What a treasure of a mountain retreat! Host was communicative & jolly. Cabin has everything guests could possibly need or dream of. Complete package for getaway…bonus fully fenced back yard for pup & private deck in the oak & pine trees with wild turkeys strolling through front yard below at sunset…cannot recommend enough. Thank you Larry!!

One of our favorites in Julian. It's a studio but plenty of space for a family of 4. Our kids were comfortable on the couch bed. The kitchen is set up for cooking anything you want to. The hosts have made great effort to ensure a comfortable experience including details on how to use all of the features they have (towel heater, fire pits, outdoor heater, fun games). They even have a pet station for your pup :)We enjoyed spending our time outside and in. The large backyard was great to hang and play, reading every morning on the front deck was a dream. The space is very comfortable. We hope to be back soon!Thanks again!!

This place was a total steal. It has a fully stocked kitchen and beautiful backyard witha hammock. The building itself is large, comfortable and well conditioned. I never had a heat issue even though it reached the upper 90s outside! The drive to Sandiego was about an hour, but is was through gorgeous mountains and fun roads! The owner was completely accomodationing and returned my texts quickly. Absolutely worth way more than the price they are asking. Loved it!!

Great place. Everything was there to enjoy a visit. Loved the patio and the backyard was great for the dog. Walking around was easy. Complete kitchen made things easy. Great time.

Had a great stay over the 4th of July holiday. Was looking for a quiet escape with my dogs and this cabin didn’t disappoint. A fenced back yard is hard to find but this place has one, and the neighborhood is walkable as well. Lots of extras inside that I haven’t seen in prior rentals. Host was quick to respond to my questions prior to booking, and sent a link of upcoming events prior to my stay. 100% recommended, would love to visit again.

The Pheasant Hill Cabin had everything that my family and I needed for a short weekend getaway. It was located in the perfect spot to be able to enjoy both Julian and the Anza-Borrego State Park. The host was quick to respon and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

This is me and my friend's 2nd time staying here and it’s just as magical as it was the first time, the vibe is always so cozy, quiet neighborhood, a lot of privacy with the surrounding trees, we loved the new fire pits !!! We love staying here and hope to come back again!!!

We had such a relaxing getaway in Julian at the Pheasant Hill Cabin; clean, cozy, and full of charm with nice modern touches. Our two golden retriever service dogs loved the backyard, and we truly appreciated how welcoming it was for them. Larry was responsive and kind, and we’re already wishing we stayed longer. We’ll definitely be back!
