LUNGOMARE! La casa è un elefante lungomare rifugio isola unica e accogliente! Decorata con gli elefanti in tutto e offre una vista meravigliosa Spieden Canale è senza dubbio un posto per divertimento e relax. Situato a circa un miglio dal porto di Roche, questo rifugio è comodo per molti servizi tra cui negozi, ristoranti e attività per la vita notturna, se lo desideri. Godere di passeggiate, gite in bicicletta o avviare piccole imbarcazioni o kayak dalla spiaggia comunità dell'istmo. Indulgere nelle diverse varietà di animali selvatici come uccelli, aquile, foche, balene, cervi e volpi che abitano le aree intorno a questa casa.

Le sistemazioni includono un loft padronale arredata con un letto king size, e un salotto che si affaccia una finestra della pagina per l'acqua. La seconda camera si trova al livello principale ed è arredata con un nuovo letto king size.

Godetevi serate rilassanti intorno alla stufa in salotto o fuori a godersi il tramonto barbecue sul ponte. Una vera cabina isolana!

We saw a humpback whale, a pod of orcas, seals, deer, and bald eagles from the deck. The house itself was the cleanest we have stayed in. And so many thoughtful touches for the guests. The management company was very communicative and responsive. 10 out of 10!! HIGHLY recommend!!

Perfect getaway for two

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I spent 2 nights in the Elephant House. This was our first time to San Juan Island and we will certainly be back. We loved the location of the cabin which is on the north end of the island, about 20 minutes from everything Friday Harbor has to offer. This was OK for us because we wanted to feel secluded and be able to have the privacy and view that the cabin offers. We spent hours on the deck enjoying the peacefulness of the area and taking in the view. Roche Harbor is only minutes away so we grabbed some food and wine from the general store when we needed it. The cabin is very cozy and we wish the couch was a bit larger but other than that it was as expected and met our needs perfectly.

Peaceful

We love Roach Harbor after years of visiting on our sailboat. After moving to Tennessee we no long have the sailboat this stay was even better. Great views and with a peacefulness you cant get at the marina. Close enough for morning donut runs and evening colors iykuk.

Nice relaxing get away

The house is comfortable and well appointed. The view of the water was breathtaking and we got to see a pod of orcas as well as local deer grazing in the yard. It was a lovely break from the routine.

Relaxing Getaway

The house is exactly as advertised and was very comfortable and relaxing. The view is phenomenal and property was perfect with a nice deck and cozy fire pit. The lower bedroom remained very quiet and dark and the bed was comfortable. Our only complaint was not staying longer. Thank you for a wonderful few nights!

Perfect place to celebrate our Anniversary!

My husband and I returned to San Juan Island for for our 10-year wedding anniversary. Perfect place for us! Check in was seamless, place was as advertised, easy parking, kitchen was well appointed. We saw Orcas, harbor seals, a fox, and a deer/fawn right from the deck. Will return!

Spring in San Juan’s

Beautiful location and nice well kept home. Living room furniture and stairs difficult to manage if you have orthopedic issues. Deck was lovely highlight of the house.

Great spot with nice deck, clean but with an off scent. Not bad just off. Stairs to loft are super small and steep so not a good idea to go up if you’ve been drinking lol. Other than that, a cool spot with a beautiful view.

Cute and cozy!

My husband and I stayed here for a week to celebrate our 25th anniversary. It was perfect for the two of us. It had everything that we needed. Walking distance to Roche Harbor (1.5 miles) for breakfast and not too long of a drive to anywhere on the island. While we weren't lucky enough to see any whales from the house, we did two different tours from Friday Harbor and saw orcas both times. You won't regret renting this cute and cozy cabin!

Loved this little cabin and the view was amazing! We had a cute little harbor seal that would pop up in the mornings and an eagle family that liked to fly by. Only negatives were the one bathroom is really small and there isn’t a second bedroom, just a loft with a bed up a very steep staircase. For my 12 year old it was fine but it would be very challenging for anyone too old or too young. I slid down a few times. Haha. But I would still stay here again. Very clean and super cute! And the loaner binoculars were a nice touch.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying in this beautiful, cozy cabin to celebrate our 36th Anniversary. The view is incredible. We were blessed to see Orcas twice from the deck and a tiny baby fawn with its mother. My favorite part of staying in Friday Harbor was returning to the cabin for relaxation on the deck and firepit area while watching the boats go up and down the channel. We can't wait to book it again. We are now officially spoiled from staying here and don't want to stay anywhere else:) We loved the location and its proximity to the beautiful Roche Harbor.
