Lovely property with special touches throughout the exterior grounds, such as the critter trail walk, sentimental tea house and fun game room. The beautiful design of the home provides an exceptional view of the water from almost every living space. We will definitely return!

An Amazing Stay at Stonecliff

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The vacation home was simply beautiful and welcoming. The views were magical even when it rained. The furnishing were comfortable and well appointed. Instructions were clear and well labeled for ease of use. We look forward to returning!

We enjoyed our stay but couldn't utilize the outdoors part on the property much. The property is peaceful and we're greeted with dear right outside the dining room windows the next morning which was very cute. It was a very steep property though so trying to get to the chairs below was a dangerous task. I did the best I could but on the way back up I injured my knee, hand and hip as I fell on tree roots sticking out. There is a huge first aid kit in the kitchen but there was nothing in it. Overall the stay was nice. Thank you.

The photos were accurate, the kitchen was well stocked, the view was unbeatable. The road in is unpaved, so be advised- but it’s worth it

The house was just lovely, and the views were fantastic! The ocean greeted you from almost every room. We loved this house, and it was the perfect spot for friends of 40 years traveling from two different states to get together. We loved watching the fishing boats and the seaplane heading to Canada once a day. This was absolutely the most private house I’ve ever rented. Everything worked perfectly, and we all wished we had booked more days. The only minor negative was the hot tub location. It worked great, but it is located just off the side of the house, making access a bit inconvenient, though a few of the girls still used it once. It also would have been nice to use the fire pit, but we understand that is against island laws for that time of year. Overall, this house is unique and incredibly private. If you want a great retreat in Friday Harbor, rent this house! It is close enough to drive to the stores, downtown, and ferries, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle."

Such a thoughtful and beautiful home! We appreciated the kitchen with every item we needed to cook our whole stay, the comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms. The waterfront views were beautiful for seeing lots of land and water animals. Also was convenient to driving around the island to enjoy local businesses. They had many thoughtful touches that our entire group enjoyed.

Wonderful views! Beautiful home!

We loved our stay at this beautiful home tucked in the woods on the water. The views were outstanding and we loved the hiking trail behind the house with the Critter Hunt. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

It has an extensive, comfortable and high quality set of furnishings, a well equipped kitchen, and many extra touches, with original art throughout every room in the house. We highly recommend Stonecliff as a lovely place to relax, with easy access to all that San Juan Island has to offer.

This property was such a wonderful stay for us and our friends. Our kids had a great time, exploring the critter trail and playing fooseball and other games!It’s a very beautifully designed house and the artistic nature was so inspiring and unique. The tea house, the view from the rooms and a comfortable atmosphere made our stay perfect and peaceful. One suggestion- it’ll be good to know that the road leading to the house is unpaved, narrow and dark at night. We reached at almost midnight coz of the ferry schedule and were a little skeptical about where we were going as we could barely see anything or anyone else around other than the forest.We would definitely stay here again though!

Lovely Island Getaway

Our stay at Stonecliff exceeded all expectations. The house was clean, cozy, and charming. The view was absolutely stunning. The check in and check out process was simple and communication was clear and easy through out. Will definitely be staying here again.

This house and property exceeded our expectations! The amount of attention given to the amenities is extraordinary. Beautiful views, comfortable and spacious living areas and well stocked with items both essential and fun! The property is exceptional! Each day we were delighted to explore the grounds, enjoy the views and relax in a beautiful setting. We would not hesitate to stay here in the future and hope we have the chance to do so again soon!

Fantastic Family Place

This property was a perfect place for 8 of us to gather. We were grandparents, children and spouses. We had an amazing time as the hosts have gone to the trouble of creating games, adventures and beautiful spaces on their acres. Everything was spotless and well tended to. We ate, laughed, hikes, watched wildlife and enjoyed San Juan Island.

BEAUTIFUL location, spacious and comfortable home with VIEWS everywhere

My team and I had the BEST time at this property- I wish we had a longer stay to enjoy it all. BUT the views and the spacious home were SO cozy. The wall to wall windows overlooking the sound was SO peaceful. THANK YOU for an amazing stay!

A lovely getaway

The property was just as advertised. We loved the view and the critter sculpture scavenger hunt. The cleaning crew and management were super helpful and mailed me an item that I left at the house. I'd love to come back here again!

Property was beautiful. The view was amazing. House had everything you ever needed. Kitchen had everything you would ever need. Beds were comfy. Love the fact that there were all king beds. Art work all over the house was absolutely gorgeous. Played foosball. Couldn’t get elliptical to work but no big deal.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our 2 grown daughters joined us recently as we celebrated a belated Christmas together. We stayed at Stonecliff and the home was hands down the most beautiful and well appointed home we’ve ever experienced thru VRBO. We were are very comfortable. We watched a pair of eagles every morning as we enjoyed our coffee. In the evenings we enjoyed the hot tub and then the fireplace inside. I strongly recommend this home for anyone wanting a truly wonderful experience in the gorgeous San Juan Islands.
