Knot 4 Sail does have amazing sunrise and beach views. On this end of the island they cannot be beat! Thank you, Amanda, for your review. It was our pleasure to host your family at Knot 4 Sail. Part of the serenity of the community is that it is out of the mainstream Galveston tourist corridor. We have one of the best beach areas on the island and you can escape from traffic and noise. The Pointe Restaurant at the Beach Club offers a tasty and varied menu with cold drinks and in addition you will find a couple local restaurants out this way as well. We are sorry the elevator had an off moment during your stay and the kids had to have that adventure. Mechanical issues are never expected, and the elevator has since been back in order following prompt servicing. We look forward to welcoming your family again and all our future guests. Knot 4 Sail offers amazing beachfront views; perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day. We do describe the community/resort amenities in all of our listing as well as the location. Most guests love being away, less than 20 miles, from the hustle and bustle of mainstream Galveston, especially during tourist season. Our beach is probably one of the best on the island and is clean and quiet. Perfect for those wishing to escape. The restaurant is undergoing renovations however is able to serve guests poolside during this time. Their are also several local dining options nearby. The private beach is less than a 5-minute walk via the dune walkover located steps outside the rental. We hope you will visit again and look forward to welcoming new guests to Knot 4 Sail.
