La mia splendida casa è situata proprio dietro Delmonico Emeril nella storica Lower Garden District di New Orleans. Dispone di 5 camere da letto e 2 bagni. Questa casa è stata costruita nel 1907 ed è assolutamente bellissimo. Ha un portico al piano terra e un balcone al primo piano con vista sulla connessione Cresent City. Oltre alla casa di essere in forma incredibile, è in una posizione che non può essere battuto. Solo un miglio da punti di riferimento quali la strada Superdome e Bourbon, ea pochi passi da alcuni dei migliori ristoranti della città ha da offrire (Emerils è dietro di me!). Il piano di sotto ha un letto matrimoniale, divano letto e 2 divani che possono ospitare comodamente 1 ciascuno. Il piano superiore dispone di 2 letti king size, 1 letto queen size e 2 divani che possono ospitare comodamente 1 letto. Il quartiere di casa mia è molto sicuro, tu e la tua famiglia o compagnia sarete in una zona fantastica.

Matt is a great host and the house was fantastic. We had a great time and would recommend staying here. The house was better than advertised!

Very solid home with great location

This was a great place to stay for my friends and family trip to New Orleans. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, and was walkable to downtown and the French Quarter. The host was also very communicative and flexible.

Incredible spot in NOLA!

Went for my bachelor party with friends, was a great location, very clean property and host was quick to respond and accommodate any of our needs. Also had great local recommendations. Perfect spot for a large group.

Beautiful historic property with lots of character

The home was a historic, beautifully restored property with so much character. The outdoor spaces were gorgeous, indicative of the garden district. The entrance was well hidden by beautiful greenary. You’d expect native bugs and insects but we could tell that the property had been treated as we experienced none. Our hostess greeted us but was respectful of our privacy. We had no issues that would warrant us to reach out. He offered late check out which was nice and the check out process was minimal to none. The BEDS! The PILLOWS! These were the highlights of our stay. They were so comfortable. Everyone slept well. The only thing we’d recommend is that all the windows have locks. Some did not. Thankfully we felt safe in the home and neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.

Top Notch!

I cannot say enough about the owner and the house! 12 Guys for a bachelor party and everyone was impressed. It's a great location and plenty of space for everyone. The stocked fridge and pantry was above and beyond the expectation of everyone. Without question everyone on our trip would recommend this house for your stay in NOLA.

Great for a Group

We used this house as a headquarters for extended family for graduation weekend. Location was great - close to restaurants and attractions. Easy access to the trolley and Ubers. Easy parking for those with cars. The group had some 75-80 year olds in it. For groups with older members, be aware that the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms are steep and that getting in and out of the clawfoot tubby was tricky. The other thing to note is that this is not a house that is equipped for cooking (not a problem for us, as we ate out or brought food in).

Amazing Host, Great Location

Matt is probably the best rental host i've come in contact with. So friendly, easy to coordinate with, really flexible with my needs. The house was perfect for our group. It's huge and has lots of areas to hang out- indoors and outdoors. The location is perfect- right between the Garden District and French Quarter. We were able to walk to a ton of stuff. I'd say the only 2 downsides- the layout is a little funky where many of the rooms require walking through to get to other rooms, so if you needed total privacy in all rooms, you'd have some issues. The kitchen was also lacking some items (like full sets of dishes/pots and pans) which made it challenging to cook big group dinners. But if you're eating out anyway, no big deal!

Great for larger groups

The location was perfect! A short walk away from some of the most beautiful mansions in New Orleans and a quick car ride to the French Quarter. Was going with a larger group of all adults and we each had our own space in the house.

Very nice!

This is a very good located to stay. You not for from many of activities. You don't have to because trolley is very close by. It located in a very quiet neighborhood. Thank for giving us a chance to stay at your located. The service was very good 👍

Perfect Location, Perfect Host, Excellent Property

First of all, let me tell you about the owner/host, Matt. *Perfect* communication from the day we booked. There were 15 of us total (8 adults, 7 kids), and while there were properties we considered with certain selling points like more space or a pool, I noticed a common trend among them of very spotty and suspect reviews. But, when I found Matt’s home on VRBO, read his story, and found the mountain of 5-Star reviews (I swear after scrolling through enough of them, I was literally TRYING to find a single unfavorable one), my mind was quickly made up. And this house did NOT disappoint. This was a family reunion/vacation; my wife and kids, my parents, my brothers, and each of their wives and kids. We never felt crowded. The ONLY knock on the layout is needing to cross the master bedroom to access the kitchen and ground-level bath from the interior, but this was rarely an issue, and they can both still be accessed by going around the outside. The home is historic and beautiful. It is central to ANYthing you will want to do, and the area is friendly and safe. We were a 10 minute walk from the incredible WWII Museum, and the most bustling parts of Bourbon St. and Royal St. really aren’t far beyond. The upscale mall and shopping district (as well as Harrah’s) on Canal St. really isn’t much further, either. Whatever it is you love about New Orleans, or whatever it is you want to experience there for the first time, this is the house for you and your group. Again, there were 15 of us, and while we brought a couple air mattresses just to be safe, there are multiple comfortable couches that members of a party could sleep on as well. And again, I circle back to Matt. We arrived to a kitchen stocked with basics, and a fridge stocked with water, soda, and beer. Whenever we needed ANYthing, he responded within moments and came through. We had a hugely successful day fishing and caught a huge haul of redfish. When I messaged him to ask if he had a grill on site, he said his was broken, but he would have a new one there by 3 that afternoon. It was sitting outside, hooked up to a fresh propane tank ahead of schedule. He has a large map set up on the ground floor with all kinds of helpful/cool nearby locations pinned. I cannot stress the lengths Matt goes to to make you feel welcome and catered to on his property. I literally challenge you to find a review that suggests otherwise. Book your trip here. Trust me.

Fantasic Stay

My group had a great time staying at the property. The house was very well stocked and super cool. The trolly is very close by which is convienent for getting around town. The Neighborhood is safe!!

Fantastic Trip!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about my experience at this location! The house was spacious, beautiful, and offered so many places for my group to spend time together. The beds were SUPER comfortable, the house was within walking distance to many cute eateries, and the patio was super cute. Matt was extremely communicative and we had an extraordinarily easy time checking in/out. Highly recommend!

Amazing house and amazing host. We had a great time!

Best location and clean/spacious house. We had a bachelorette party and Matt’s house was the perfect place for our group. Great location. He had the fridge stocked and snacks for us upon arrival. Would definitely rent it out again and recommend to friends!

Memorial Day Weekend

11 of my friends and myself stayed here for Memorial Day weekend and we had a blast. We had plenty of room and the place was nice and clean when we arrived. Matt was a great host. The kitchen was stocked with drinks and snacks when we arrived and he offered his assistance with anything we might need while in town. We loved the location as well. We always felt safe and we felt plenty close enough to all the main tourist attractions while also feeling far enough away from it all for some peace and quiet when needed. Would 10/10 book this place again and recommend it to others.

Family reunion New Orleans

Big beautiful house in a great neighborhood. Loved the front porch. Close to trolley, WW II museum and Magazine St. Matt is a wonderful host. All 9 of us had a wonderful time. Definitely would return.

We had a great time at Matt’s place. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does in the pictures. Additionally, Matt equipped the home with all the necessary equipment and threw in some extras as well (water bottles, snacks, etc). The neighborhood is very conveniently located and quiet! Would absolutely recommend any group to stay here!

Most accommodating host ever!

My husband & I took our 3 children, spouses and 5 grandchildren to Mardi Gras. Around the block is the parades and restaurants galore. Matt had snacks, drinks, fruit and a couple of cases of water ready for our enjoyment. I will definitely book with Matt again.

My name is Matt and I was born and raised in the great city of New Orleans. I spent time away getting my degree and serving in the Marines. At the University of Mississippi I got a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management. I didn't know is at the time but a career in this field is what I do best. In the Marines I did 2 tours overseas in Iraq and other parts of the Middle East. I purchased this beautiful house in August 2014 and I love sharing it with wonderful people. As a host I go the extra mile to ensure my guests have an amazing experience.

This house has been in my family since 1997. It was built in 1907 and has had a lot of beautiful work done to it. Besides being it great shape, the location is what makes this property so special. The Lower Garden District is the best part of New Orleans period. It is very safe and very close to everything. The French Quarter and all the amazing landmarks are only 1 mile away! Its a beautiful walk or an easy cab/uber. They are great to see but its so nice to take a 5 minute ride to a quiet safe area at the end of the night. All of my guests have had a wonderful time staying in my home.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

The location is perfect and there is not a home as spacious and nice anywhere near me. One block from the streetcar on St. Charles Ave and walking distance to the citys best bars and restaurants.
