The rental was fantastic. Cindy was easy to work with. The house was great for us. The interior was very nice and clearly shows that the owners take very good care of it. Can’t think of a single complaint. The house itself is two blocks from the beach entrance. About a five minute walk or a minute golf cart ride if you rent one (plenty of parking for the golf cart at the beach entrance). Great beach weather week as well. Walking distance to Food Lion, Tortugas Lie (the best restaurant in the Outer Banks), and others things. As long as you don’t need to be right on the beach, this house is perfect.

House was absolutely perfect and exceeded our expectations. Owners were in constant contact and were a delight! I would highly recommend this property to any prospective renters. We went as a girls getaway and had a wonderful time. House is decorated beautifully and included everything needed for a comfortable stay. The owners had every small detail, down to beach themed hand soap, spot on. Walking distance to Food Lion and only a few blocks from the beach. Will definitely be booking again for this beautiful home!!

Our trip was scheduled for 2 brothers and their wives. Unfortunately, two days before check-in, my mother-in-law passed away and my wife and I were unable to travel to the Outer Banks. We had wonderful communication with Cindy both before and after Mom's passing. The remainder of our review is from the information given to us by our brother and sister-in-law. They also reported that they had talked with Cindy and that the house was wonderful and very nicely decorated. It was very clean and they enjoyed staying there.

Great Location

Property is beautiful, comfortable, well equipped and close to everything. Easy walk to the beach. Beach was not crowded. Able to walk to many things and short drive to shopping, restaurants, Wright brothers museum and other activities.

We absolutely loved our stay at Three Mermaids! This was our third time at the property and it was just as wonderful as the first two. Cindy is great to work with! The property is not only in the perfect location, but the house amenities are just what we needed for our family, which includes three kids under 10. I cannot recommend enough!

Wonderful Stay

My family and I had a wonderful stay here! Jim & Cindy were amazing hosts and communication was clear, especially through a rebooking due to a tropical storm delaying our trip and prepping for check in. This was our first time to the area and they were helpful with suggestions to enjoy our visit! Would definitely stay with them again!

Best Weekend at the Beach Ever!!

The room we rented was beautifully decorated, very comfortable for fun and laughter and perfect distance to the beach. We will definitely be returning if we can get a booking.
