What a wonderful place to stay. We stayed as a couple, and the house offered far more room than we could use. The description is spot-on. Amazing views from close to the top of Paddy Mountain. Appreciated the paved road access to the driveway, labelled light switches, household amenities, game room, hvac, fireplace, hot tub, as well as quick and easy access to West Jefferson. Clocked a nine minute drive to Ingles in town. Kitchen was well stocked. The house is cut into a steep four acres of property. You'd have to be very adventurous to explore the lot, but the privacy and tranquility of the setting were terrific. With the right weather conditions, you'll enjoy sitting on the expansive deck to enjoy sunsets and the night sky. Layered views of some of the taller peaks in the nearby mountain ranges looking south. We hope to have the opportunity to again stay at Paddy's Peak!

Beautiful mountain home and enjoyed some amazing sunsets over the beautiful mountains! Ginny’s place is very relaxing and secluded! West Jefferson had a lot to offer in their little laid back town.

Kitchen well appointed for cooking any meal you desire!Beautiful view.Excellent location. Minutes from the lovely town of West Jefferson. We were in town for Merle fest- perfect location for the festival! We have two children at App State-easy trip to Boone.

Amazing views, modern, beautiful house. We had more then enough space for our group of 4. Sitting out under the stars in the hot tub was a highlight for us along with a hike to the top of the mountain with my son.

We had a great stay at Paddy’s Peak! May be our favorite place we ever rented. The views were breathtaking. The kitchen was fully stocked with any utensil you’d need. Rooms and beds were comfortable. The game room was perfect for adults to play pool and enjoy themselves while the kids played.

Absolutely stunning views in a beautiful, well-appointed home! Great hiking nearby, ample shopping in the cute town of West Jefferson, and delicious food & shopping at Third Day Market nearby. The owners are a joy to work with and quick to communicate. We have stayed here many times.

The house was everything we could have asked for. The view was stunning and the hot tub and game room kept the kids entertained. Plenty of room for 3 families of 4. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Long Weekend

The property is incredible and the view is spectacular. Would highly recommend for any size outing. If you want a nice workout, try the Paddy Mountain Trail, a new facility in West Jefferson. The host was very responsive.

Beautiful Mountain Getaway

This was a beautiful location, clean cabin, and great amenities. Everything we needed me more. We had a women’s retreat with 10 women, and there was plenty of room! Thank you for a great experience! We also enjoyed going into the town of West Jefferson to explore!

Thanksgiving in the mountains

The house is perfect for a family gathering. Main floor is very open with an amazing view of the mountains. Lower floor is great for children and adults to play games. We all enjoyed our time at the home.

Has everything you need for a family trip!

This was a beautiful home with am amazing view. We stayed a weekend with family and we had a wonderful time. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, appliances, dishes, and utensils, which made preparing meals so much easier. We look forward to staying again!

Our family loved everything about this beautiful home. It is very clean and worth every penny spent.

For the first time on a vacation we actually loved staying in, there was so much to do with the children in the downstairs arcade. The children enjoyed Smores by the fire overlooking the beautiful view. The house was very clean and sanitary we will for sure be visiting again soon!

Family gathering

Spent our second Thanksgiving week at this property and once again had an awesome time. The house is perfect for our crew from 3 years old to 65. The kids (little and big) once again loved the game room, while everyone enjoyed the views. Thanks for sharing.

Great House, amazing 180 degree view of the mountains, amenities above and beyond expectation. We will certainly be back. Although we had a lot of rain over the weekend, a fantastic time was had by all. Best rainbow ever when the sun came out. Cheers. D. Bost
