Vista sulle montagne a 360 gradi dalla Hacienda di Heather nella prestigiosa Weimer. Una luce e ariosa casa drammatica con alti soffitti viga e soffitti di latilla a spina di pesce realizzati a mano da pioppi di montagna locali. Il tradizionale camino a legna sud-ovest di Kiva aggiunge l'atmosfera invernale a questa vista già invitante. Le viste sono letteralmente Nord, Sud, Est e Ovest. Solo 1 miglio al Taos Youth & Family Center con piscina, pattinaggio su ghiaccio e altre strutture ricreative e 15 minuti a piedi da Carson National Forest e sentieri escursionistici.

Per ulteriore piacere e svago scivolare nella vasca idromassaggio per guardare le stelle in notti stellate e rilassarsi dopo una giornata di sci, rafting, trekking, pesca, mountain bike o shopping a sud-ovest.

Inoltre, Hacienda di Heather è rara e unica nel suo genere, dotata di un efficiente e centrale sistema di raffreddamento per evaporazione che funziona solo nei climi aridi del deserto. Coloro che non hanno mai sperimentato il "raffreddamento della palude" come una forma di condizionamento d'aria sono in una vera delizia.

Never Again

The house was as advertised and the caretaker was very responsive. There is a huge problem with the house though. The house is infested with mice!! The caretaker put out traps. BUT when sitting on the couch a mouse ran across my back/neck!!!! We saw three different mice in the main area. We couldn’t wait to get out of there.

A Week at Heather's Hacienda

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The layout of Heather's Hacienda was perfect for us. There are few issues I'd like to bring up. Please feel free to call if you'd like more elaboration:- The toilet in the bathroom that's unattached to a bedroom backed up. It needed to be plunged earlier in the day, but backed up in the middle of the night. We cleaned up and laundered, but you might want to look into the plumbing.We found no soap for showering so I called the housekeeper. She informed us that the owner does not provide such soap. It's my opinion that it should be provided. Who would stay at a hotel that doesn't provide soap for taking a shower or bath?Last, although my friend from Ohio who met us there only specified that she could not manage steps, she had a few more problems than that. She didn't complain, but suggested the following for a more accessible experience: grab bars in the showers, grab bars next to the toilets, and a ramp up to the portal. The portal was difficult for her to navigate, although only one step up, it was high and the wood support posts were difficult for her to grab onto. I know you don't advertise the house as "accessible", but you might want to consider these easy solutions.

Beautiful Location, home needs some TLC

The property caretaker,Terra, was PHENOMENAL. She made the check in process easy, she was able to help me get wood delivered for the Kiva, she had the hot tub fixed quickly (didn’t work when we first tried to use it, electrical problem), she recommended a spot for our dogs to stay while we had to take a short trip, she answered our questions immediately, she arranged for a housekeeper to come mid stay to clean the house (and it was a reasonable fee) and she even offered to print our lease when we had to track something down at the post office. Cannot say enough good things about her. The location of the house is perfect, the house is spacious and the beds are comfortable, there are beautiful views, sunrise and sunsets are amazing on the porches. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The house is in need of some repairs. The back door is not tight and the front door doorknob lock does not lock the door. Only a deadbolt. The refrigerator leaks. There was trash outside when we arrived, some of the kitchen drawers were broken, the bed pillows were all stained (we ordered some pillows to use during our stay), the roof vent makes lots of noise in the kitchen and living room in the wind, there was wood, a towel, and various other things strewn in the back of the house when we arrived. The location and the caretaker are the best things about this house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you are looking for the center of town near the hot spots, this isn't it! What it is however is the perfect get away to relax. It is convenient to Taos Ski valley and not too far from Sante Fe and Red River/Angel Fire. The views were increadible and the property was very nice. Of course the price was very reasonable compared to other properties in the area, so all in all, this was a perfect week for us!!

Not as HAPPY as We could have Been

Reviewer Comments: We had a couple of people who had hoped to use the vacation to catch up on somethings on the computer but we did not have Internet for the entire time we were there. When I made my reservation I asked If wood came with the House, was told Yes but when we got to the house there was no wood. They did bring some about six or seven on Sunday but that was a whole day and a half with out wood. This part might be a non issue for most but not to me. I called our caretake three or four times and got back text messages, I'm old school and do not text I thought this to be very unprofessional I want to talk to the people I'm doing dealings with. I've stayed with Premiere Properties five or six times and this was the first time that I was not impressed with your service.

Hello Larry – Thank you for your review and we are sorry to hear that your stay at Heather’s Hacienda was less than perfect. I have communicated with the caretaker regarding these issues and she provided the following information. You are correct there was no wood at the home when you arrived and she brought a full basket of wood the following day. The next day a full cord of wood was delivered to the home. She also said when she was texted by you for the key location she mentioned that there was a problem with the internet. The answer she received from you was that it was OK but not ideal. Sometimes when communicating by Cell Phone in Taos and depending on the location, texting is the best way of communication which was explained at the time of texting. Not receiving a call from you to our office prior to the review left us unable to offer any help or compensation. We do appreciate your repeat patronage over the years and if you wish to return to Heather’s Hacienda we would offer some type of compensation at that time. Respectfully Premiere Properties.

We highly recommend this property. The house has wonderful southwest décor and beautiful views of the mountains and the setting sun. Although it's just a few minutes from the Plaza, it is secluded and peaceful. The property had all the amenities we needed. Julianne the property manager is very helpful and does a great job. We plan on staying again at this property next year.

I highly recommend Heather’s Hacienda 2 and renting with Premier Properties. The house was beautifully decorated, well maintained and equipped with all the amenities we needed. A large picture window in the living room provided awesome sunset views. We found ourselves rushing back to the house so as not to miss the spectacular show! We had visited Taos many times, but had never rented a house before. Renting through Premier Properties was a great experience. The rental process was easy and convenient. Julianne, the caretaker for our property, was very responsive and provided excellent service. We’re already planning our visit in 2018!

Super nice home with everything you can think of to make your stay just like home. The house is nicely laid out with two separate master bedroom on each end of the home which gives you some privacy if need be. I would highly recommend this rental and plan on renting it again on my next trip to Taos.

Most Fantastic Home!

Lovely Week in Taos

Reviewer Comments: we absolutely LOVED the house! it was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-stocked. the porch was our favorite spot, though. we spent a good part of our time in the hammocks. thanks for the rain every evening, as well. nice touch. ;)our ONLY complaint would be that we never figured out how to work the swamp cooler. it got hot on a few afternoons. however, the rain cooled things off eventually, and we opened the windows to the cool, scented air.

Reviewer Comments: We originally reserved a different property, but about 40 miles away from Taos we received a call informing us that the other property had a maintenance issue and we were given our choice of 4 properties to stay at. While this is not a good start to a vacation, Heather's Hacienda really was an upgrade. The only thing it didn't have that the other property did have was a PS3. The views were spectacular. The house was very clean. Overall a very nice place to stay.

What a Pleasant Surprise!

Reviewer Comments: First let me premise this with previous experience with other rental homes. Usually dirty, with old sheets & towels, bare bones decor, etc. This home is what it is supposed to be like! A lovely, spacious home with a significant collection of art & thick padded area rugs, & a large kitchen with almost everything we needed to make Thanksgiving dinner! The only negative was that the carving knives were really good looking, but whimpy! But with all the other positives, we were able to live with that! The beds were Temperpedic & very comfortable. The linens were nice. The home was very clean. It would have been nice to have some "snow melt" available to clear the ice off the entry patio. & also to have a couple notes about how things work such as the fire place damper, television controls, etc. We really enjoyed sitting in the sun on the east side of the house in the mornings! Ari, the caretaker was available when we had questions & even helped the guys get the football station they wanted to watch! With dogs, it got pretty muddy when the snow melted & we had alot of paw cleaning as they came indoors. There is not alot of mulch or landscaping to buffer the mud. Overall, it was a really great stay! Thank you for making our Thanksgiving wonderful!

Reviewer Comments: Our family especially enjoyed the views, quietness, and fireplace with wood provided, our grandaughters loved the whole Toas experience, made better by our lovely home while we were there. Everything was spotless, kitchen, baths everything, and they even had laundry detergent on hand.

First time in Taos and loved it.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great house. The only negative comments: cooking utencils and outside grill needed scrubbing prior to use. Previous guest's clothing in dresser drawers. Tenant renting the attached office being there on a holdiay weekend was a little wierd. Overall wonderful weekend - thank you!
