Good location, but poor mobile reception and Wifi connection

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was perfect with a wonderful view. The condition of the property is dated and there is puddle in the dishwasher which means it did not drain well, so we did not dare to use it. Also, Wifi details were not in the apartment as suggest in the email. We arrived late in the weekend. It took a long time to look for it and finally we had to call the emergency number to get the info. Even after that, Wifi connection and basic telephone connection was poor.

Stunning view and Beautiful Area!!!

Property was great, we loved our stay. Pictures made the condo look bigger than it actually was, but we were happy with our stay regardless. Host let us check out an hour later which was nice. There were boogie boards in the closet for us to use which was so nice! There were also beach towels for all six of us which was great

Heavenly Views

We loved spending time on the lanai! It’s quite possibly the most beautiful view in the world. The condo could use a few updates and repairs, but with that view we hardly noticed. We can’t wait to return.

Amazing Location

The views can't be beat. The condo was well-furnished for our needs. While it could use some updating, the views are so spectacular that you can easily overlook everything else. We loved the pool and hot tub, especially being there in winter when the surf was especially high. The Hideaway Pizza pub had excellent pizza and was nice to have so close by. Would definitely stay here again.

Spectacular views and location, but...

Excellent kitchen and supplies, towels, layout for four guests with spearate suites, and VIEWS! Enjoyed our stay a lot!! The only offputting aspect of the property was the condition (getty old and stained) of the carpet. Update that and it could be almost perfect.

A very comfortable condo with breathtaking views

We enjoyed our stay very much! Lots of space to spread out inside, good kitchen to make breakfast, gorgeous vistas off the lanai balcony. We walked down to our private beach and swam with the turtles.....superb! Captured incredible photos off the balcony of partial and full rainbows, with amazing sea and landscape all around. Convenient grocery nearby, and all the other necessities. We loved it all, and so did our daughter and son-in-law.

Twelve Days In Paridise

The view from our unit was spectacular. Watching the Nene parade by with their chicks was an added treat. Never tired of going to sleep to the soothing sounds of the surf. The property manager was very helpful making sure we had everything we needed. A perfect twelve days in paridise.

What words would be adequate? We LOVED our stay. The views were spectacular. Majestic. Quiet. Very special. Would come back in a heartbeat. Management company was easy to work with and very accommodating with my request for a later departure.

Best views. Best sunsets.

Wonderful location. Can walk to several beaches. Nice and clean. Updated kitchen and bathrooms. My only complaint, is had a strong mildew odor. But that got better in a few days. Oceanfront properties were great too. Would definitely recommend it.

Great view & Location

View is phenomenal! Unit was fine, could use a little updating. Master bed was not the most comfortable, our backs hurt every morning. Other than that everything else was good.

Another day in paradise

Very easy process to rent the property. Communication with Oceanfront Realtors was excellent. View was spectacular and the location was fantastic. Property was clean and freshly painted suggesting owners are in process of upgrading. Still need to replace carpeting which is in dire need replacement and really should upgrade the lanai’s furniture to match the fabulous views. Overall I would highly recommend this as a vacation destination.

Comfortable Condo - Excellent View

Everything is as advertised. We totally enjoyed ourselves. But beware the lack of AC. The afternoon sun comes in strongly. All the drapes need to be kept closed in the afternoon. Also the dryer seems to vent to the inside. Very nice they had some snorkle stuff and a boogie board for us to use.

Princeville Condo with Views

This property has stunning views and we enjoyed our time there with all the fees it was costing us over $700 a day. The carpet was very dirty and the furniture and beds were dated/older so we would ask that they paint an update carpet and furniture for that price. The cleaners have done an excellent job and the place is well equipped for cooking and we really enjoyed being there and would like to return.

We have stayed in other locations on the North Shore but will come back to this one. The unit was as good as described with amazing views and easy access to all the amenities we were looking for. Great snorkeling beach, easy access tot he Queens Bath, nice pool, plenty of beach chairs/board/etc. Also well appointed kitchen that allowed us to cook and enjoy our family time. Amazing place!

NO AIR CONDITIONING!

I regret booking this place. The beds and pillows are bad. The fan upstairs is so loud. There is no A\C so you’ll be hotter than is comfortable most times. We booked it for a week and had to leave to a proper hotel just to be comfortable. Staying here basically cost me double as we paid to stay here and then had to go to a hotel. Just stay somewhere else.

Unfortunately, you did not contact us about any issues during your stay, and you only told us about your early departure two days afterward. As with most homes on Kauaʻi, this one is not air conditioned, as you were aware when you booked for your stay during late summer. Kauaʻi is located in the sub-tropics, and if you couldn't be comfortable with nighttime temperatures in the mid-to-low 70s F, perhaps you should have chosen a home with ac when you booked in December. Please note that the vast majority of guests have rated this home highly, and no one else has reported uncomfortable beds or noisy fan. For the future, please make sure when you depart a rental home that you follow departure instructions and clean up any mess before leaving.

Great view but needs a makeover

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great view. We have stayed at many other units at Pali Ke Kua. The view cannot be beat. Unfortunately, the unit that we chose this year was a little disappointing. The unit is in need a remodel and a minimum, a deep clean. The kitchen was old and dated and all the cabinets were sticky with dinge. The floors were dirty and our bare feet turned brown from the floors in the first hour. The glass table tops on the three tables were streaky and gross. Overall, even with the cross breeze, the unit had an off putting smell. Half of the shower door in the master bathroom was missing. Boogie boards and beach chairs were a plus. No fans at the units, but when we called Oceanfront, they delivered two nice fans the next day.
