We enjoyed a week vacation on Lakemore Lodge. Everything was provided for fun, cooking, cleaning and a good night's sleep. Communication with owner and staff was prompt and efficient. The lake was quiet and we appreciated that aspect. Property was clean and well maintained. Also appreciated the ease of boat rental and communication with boat staff. We would love to return in the future.

This house is absolutely beautiful and it sits on an amazingly peaceful lake. The house is high quality construction, extremely clean, and well stocked with more than any other place we have rented. It even came with their own delicious coffee. We loved the paddle boards, kayaks and dock where we fished. Tricia communicated everything to us prior to arrival and was very responsive to our questions once we arrived. The staff at the resort were top notch and we enjoyed talking to them while eating ice cream and buying merchandise. The pontoon boat, which was very nice, and the fishing boat were convenient to rent. This was truly a trip to remember and we are so grateful for a wonderful week.

The Lakeview Lodge was absolutely beautiful! We needed a portable crib, high chair and baby gate. They brought them and set them up right away!My family and I will definitely be staying here again!

Beautiful home in a beautiful location. My family talked about wanting to come back and we would definitely rent from Tricia and her family again. Highly recommend renting this home to anyone.

Wonderful!

The space was cozy and accommodating for a relaxing girl’s weekend in TC! The property was immaculate and on such a quiet, serene lake. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing time away from the normal hustle and bustle.

Perfect Friend Weekend Getaway

I just graduated from Law School and I wanted to say thank you to my friends who got me through. It was the perfect location to introduce my friends to Northern Michigan. We spent half of our time hanging out at the house relaxing and the other half exploring the TC area. Perfect weekend!

A perfect girls weekend!

Our time at this modern lakehouse, nestled along the beautiful lake, was truly delightful. The proximity to downtown Traverse City only enhanced the experience. Our bride-to-be wanted a relaxing getaway and this was an excellent choice. With its serene waterside location and comfortable accommodations for 10 guests, it promises a rejuvenating escape. The owner and the helper there were both great and made the process so easy. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Getaway

Our family was seeking a quick fall weekend getaway and Lakemore Retreat exceeded our expectations. The Adams Family should be incredibly proud of the oasis they’ve built there on Arbutus Lake. The property is pristine. The lake is gorgeous. It’s close enough to have the conveniences of Traverse City, but far enough away to have silence and tranquility of Northern Michigan. Well done!

We had a wonderful stay over New Year’s weekend. The property was beautiful, clean, well-appointed and just as advertised. We especially enjoyed the use of the hot tub, grill and pool table during our stay. Check-in process went smoothly and we appreciated the personalized touch of being greeted by staff upon arrival. Tricia and staff responded quickly to questions and were very accommodating. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful House

We really enjoyed the house. It’s a beautiful home. We were a little disappointed that there was no hot tub. The VRBO listing showed a hot tub and all of the literature inside the house said there was a hot tub, as well. We intentionally booked a house with a hot tub, since we were coming in May for a soccer tournament and were expecting cold weather. Other than that, we were very happy with the house and had everything we needed.

Nice stay overall

Place is very nice with everything you really need. Our kids liked the upstairs bunk, but wish there was a television up there. Television in basement did not have great wifi and only worked half the time we were there. Also, the pantry had a ton of tiny bugs (either fruit flies or no see ums). While not a huge deal, for the cost of this nice of a place, would have expected the best. Very spacious, with nice little dock and beach. Overall, happy with stay.

Fall friends get-away

We had 6 adults and 5 children stay at this property for a fall trip away from Chicago. The layout was perfect for 3 families. Each family had their own space and the basement with pool table was perfect for the kids to play, especially since it was carpet. The house was also the most kid-friend VRBO I have ever stayed in, they had baby gates, toys, high-chairs, pack-n-plays, it was really perfect for us. It snowed and the property was just lovely, the back yard had a perfect sledding hill for the little ones! Tricia was so kind and commutative, you could tell that she really cared that we enjoyed our stay. No complaints here! Would love the opportunity to stay again!
