We booked for a bigger group but ended up only having 3 of us there. We had more room than needed but no complaints there. The best part was how close to the beach you are.

Nice affordable clean beach house. Comfortable beds, clean sheets. Kitchen well stocked with utensils. Lots of beach toys including boogie boards available. Nice charcoal grill. Beach was clean, patrolled by Police, and not overly crowded.

The beds were not comfortable for older people, and the living room furniture was not comfortable either. But the house over all would be great for younger families.

sorry to hear that. Both sofa and beds are firm. We will add soft mattress pad on top of current firm mattress.

The communication was great however everything else fell short. The cleaners hadn’t been then when we arrived, so nothing was prepared. We did have solid communication with Jennifer and she did agree to refund our cleaning fee (though it hasn’t been refunded yet). We cleaned the place up, did laundry etc.. The property itself needs a major cleaning as the walls, cabinets, doors, floor boards, ceilings and fans were all very dirty. Curtain rods are falling off the walls, blinds are broken and very dirty and 2 of the 3 sofas are broken. Had we not paid so much we would have found another rental. The plus side is close access to beach, decent views and it was pet friendly.

Sorry about the Cleaning Issues encountered at checkin. Cleaning lady missed the cleaning due to car accident when she is on her way to clean the house. Unfortunately I was traveling by air plane and was not able to arrange substitute cleaning lady to get house cleaned on time. We issued cleaning fee refund which will take 5-7 business days to settle. This house has been booked back to back during summer rental and we did not get chance to do deep cleaning and detailed maintenance. We are able to get house deep cleaned and upgrade mattress, sofa furniture now after rental slows down.

The house was adequate but lacking some things like mixing bowls, measuring cups/spoons, there was only 5 forks but tons of spoons. Kitchen was very disorganized most everything was shoved into one cabinet. Pros- very close to beach so you can walk and avoid parking fees. The beds were comfortable, house had plenty of towels, trash bags, dish washer soap. There were beach toys downstairs but many were broken and they are just thrown in a pile under porch in the dirt. Cons- house was pretty dated, dirty (we had to pull clump of hair out of drain so shower would drain, all the base boards are very dirty, there’s spots on walls from what looked like flys being swatted, the kitchen drawers were breaking/peeling. The seating in living room is 3 uncomfortable futons with couch covers that are way to big over them. The fenced area for dogs is a very wobbly wood fence that needs repairs and hadn’t been mowed or been touched with weed eater in awhile. The yard also needs to be maintained better as grass was tall and you could tell they don’t weed eat. The cleaners need to do much better several of the pans we pulled out had dried food in them and the house overall needs a deep cleaning. Guest are required to wash all the towels/bedding so appears cleaners don’t do much besides make beds and fill toilet paper. We took several pictures of how dirty it was and that grass hadn’t been mowed in a while.

Perfect weekend get-away. Easily accessible residence and beach. The amenities were great. The host is so sweet. The fishing, swimming, sunning and relaxing was amazing. I would definitely return.

The grass needed to be mowed in the little yard for the dogs, because of recent rain, but they came the very next morning and took care of it. Everything worked and no problems. Follow the directions the host sends because GPS will try to have you turn on the road before the home. The dryer vent did keep getting stuff twisted and the drain on the dishwasher needs to be fixed, but other than that it was exactly what was expected and our stay was fabulous. Don't get me wrong, the appliances all did thor job, all was great. The entrance to the beach is right there, so very convenient.

We were charged cleaning and laundry fees prior to stay. We left the facility clean, trash at the curb and all laundry done except the sheets. We left them in the washer washing. The electric stove only had two working burners. We had hours of no electricity available on the property two days in a row. The photos need updated and they obviously have had bed bug issues in the past. One sofa was broke and had been attempted to be fixed by host prior to our stay.

Overall the house served its purpose. The pictures on the listing didn’t truly show the property in its current condition. The couches in the living room were cheap futons that were horribly uncomfortable. The TV kept glitching out and would restart many times when we tried to watch a movie using one of the app on the Roku account. I even check to see if an update was needed, it wasn’t. The beds were not that comfortable. In the master you could feel the springs. The sheets had what looked like grease stains on them. The bathroom in the master needs a new shower curtain liner. It was orange, scummy and quite gross. When I pulled the curtain back there was a hair glob on the shower floor. The water came out orange (at first and when using hot water) and smelled awful. We were notified in our check in letter that all of Surfside uses well water and the house had a filter but we could not drink the water. In the living room we found dog food bits on the floor near the couch. Overall the house was fairly clean but not to a quality standard. We were notified shortly before we arrived that the dishwasher was out and was pending a part to be repaired. Not a problem, we managed. The beach view and location is great, just a short walk away.

sorry about the inconvenience, we have taken care of the issues upon receiving the message. Shower curtains liner is replaced, new parts for dishwasher is installed, water filter changed out, extra mattress top is placed on beds, new TV has been installed for living room. Thanks again for sharing your stay experience with us, we will upgrade our furnitures based on guests feed back and look forward to provide better housing for future guests.
