Il Wilkes Pied-a-terre condivide il suo nome e la costruzione con la nostra proprietà originale Wilkes House, ed è un appartamento al 2 ° piano situato sopra la famosa signora. Sala da pranzo Wilkes. Ti sveglierai ogni mattina nella bella Jones Street, dove ciottoli e querce secolari che gocciolano nel muschio spagnolo hanno costretto Southern Living Magazine a chiamarlo la "Strada più carina d'America".

Ricco di dettagli architettonici, questa casa ha pavimenti in legno originali, caminetti in marmo e soffitti 12 'complimentati da arredi maestosi. Goditi la vista su Jones Street dal comfort del tuo salotto, dove una TV a schermo piatto è discretamente nascosta nell'armadio. La sala da pranzo comunicante ha un sacco di luce e bei mobili antichi. La cucina recentemente rinnovata è completamente attrezzata con tutto il necessario per un weekend o un soggiorno prolungato, tra cui una lavatrice e un'asciugatrice.

La camera da letto ha un letto king-size di grandi dimensioni a baldacchino, una sedia da lettura e un sacco di spazio per riporre e sistemare i cassetti e l'armadio. This is a wonderful, spacious property in a great area of town. Loved that a free lunch was included with the stay of 3 nights or more! The food was delicious!! So easy to get around and we were within walking distance of so many places. We had a wonderful stay. Would definitely return to this home.

From the front door to the back door, everything was excellent. The added bonus of getting a free lunch at Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room was a pleasant surprise. We've already told our friends about this place and highly recommend it.

The apartment was perfect! It was like stepping back into time with all the antiques. I felt as if I had visited somewhere a President had stayed. The location was perfect for walking to see all there is to do in downtown Savannah.

Perfect location, and historic vibe.

Loved our stay at Wilkes’ House. Easy to walk around town and see everything. Home was comfy and super clean - and kept the old charm, which is what drew us there to begin with. Would stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There is absolutely no better location to stay in Savannah than this perfect rental! We easily walked everywhere we wanted to go, from Forsyth Park to the River District, every single day. Never needed to call for a ride or take the bus, even! The unit was very clean and comfortable. Lunch at Mrs. Wilke's in the building was incredible, and the traffic from the restaurant was never an issue whatsoever during our stay because of their limited hours. When visiting Savannah in the future, I will certainly seek out this rental first!

My husband and I stayed for a weekend and it was perfect! The history of the building is well preserved with modern updates in the kitchen and bath. We really enjoyed meeting other travelers during our delicious lunch at Mrs. Wilkes.

Perfect visit

What a beautiful rental place! Great location, you can walk the entire old town. The apartment is so spacious you feel guilty using it for just two people. Such nice antique fixtures and modern kitchen and bathroom.

And Elegant Place from the Past

Loved the high ceilings, curving walls, furnishings, furniture, layout, and more. The location was great, with Mrs. Wilke's Dining Room right downstairs. They had excellent food and plenty of it. Despite the age of the place, it smelled fine and was plenty warm despite it being cold and rainy outside. Beautiful place inside and out.

What a gorgeous place in an incredible neighborhood. The fantastic smells coming from the downstairs restaurant were mouth watering every day. Make sure to use the Hospitality app for check-in and ignore other messages about door codes
