Walk Off the Patio and Onto the Beach!

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding when you wakeup to the master ceiling dripping at the foot of the bed where the new AC was installed. Hopefully, we’ll see you in the future. It actually happened again so we’ve moved onto, hopefully, a more reliable A/C company. You were wonderful.

Thanks for your input, Nancy. Our cleaning company provides the towels so I will definitely speak with the owner. They pick them up before I ever see the linen and we use our own. I definitely needed to know that. We have a closet in the large master dressing room to hang both long and short clothes. You must have missed it because if you keep the door that leads from the hallway to the master dressing room you won’t see the door to the closet. There’s also the barn door to the master bedroom so you might have used only that & never closed the door to the hallway. Unfortunately, the dryer has been a doing that for about 6 months. My manager cleaned out the vent 2 times and it persisted so I hired an appliance man to repair it. He can supposedly repaired it & I paid him but the issue continued. I called & texted so many times but he ghosted me. After exhausting that, we hired a man from highly recommended (over a 100-4.9 stars) appliance repair company in Harlingen and he came repaired and serviced it. Still no results so he came to look at it and even though I asked the man, who booked the house, if the repairman could come, someone in his party wouldn’t allow the repairman in. At that point, I told him that we would just wait until there’s a time when no guests are in the house. There were 3 parties with check-outs & arrivals on the same day. You were the last of those so he came and hopefully, it is working properly now. We do have a washer and dryer on the 3rd floor. I’m so sorry that I didn’t know that you didn’t see the closet in the master dressing room. That’s why I check in with people during their stay to see if there are any problems. I am contacting the cleaning company owner to let him know that the towels need to be replaced. We hope to see you in the future. Those issues will be remedied thanks to your input. It was a pleasure working with you.

I’m so sorry that you had such a terrible last night. Unfortunately, you didn’t contact our manager to let him know that there was an A/C problem until 9 pm. My manager contacted me and I called our A/C installation and repair company immediately. He did not respond until that morning & I contacted you as soon as I heard from him and he went to the house at that time. It was a plug in the drain line. There are some things that we can’t control. The TX heat at this time of year can be brutal. Fortunately, there were 2 other A/Cs. I am trying a new A/C company so that I am hoping that we can get service even at night. I am disappointed that you didn’t mention that I answered 3 of your emails prior to your arrival about coffee machines and room descriptions. We made sure that you were able to arrive at the house at 2 pm instead of 4 pm. You called our manager to tell him that we only had 7 bath towels so I called our cleaning services and he confirmed that 17 sets of washcloths, & hand and bath towels were left. Our manager called you to tell you that there were 17 sets either hanging in the adjoining bathrooms or in the bathroom cabinets, 2 kitchen towels and 2 hand towels in the 1/2 bath. You responded that you found them when you called to tell us that our dishwasher was not working. When our manager called to follow up on that, you said that it was working after all. The Bosch dishwasher is very quiet so I assume that you didn’t think that it was working. Again, I’m sorry that we couldn’t have made your stay better.
