A soli 90 minuti di auto da Londra, Bowmore Lodge è situato sui laghi esclusivi yoo nei pressi della città di Lechlade on Thames nel Gloucestershire, in Inghilterra.
Bowmore Lodge è stato progettato dal team di Philippe Starck con i suoi interni disegnati dal proprietario per creare un ambiente rilassante e stilista. Si trova in 650 acri di incontaminata campagna di Cotswold in mezzo a sei laghi di acqua cristallina. Esposto a sud sul più grande lago della tenuta, Bowmoor, ogni camera offre una vista sul lago mozzafiato.

Perfect venue for a family/friends group with great facilities. The location right on the lake, and views, couldn't be better. Lots of different chill out zones to suit everyone. We had the benefit of perfect sunny weather and spent a lot of time in the lake swimming / kayaks. Great having all the ducks and swans coming past the deck at regular intervals. It'd also be a great place in the cooler months as the views of the lake would change everyday. All the guests unanimously loved the place.

Wonderful lakeside retreat

Iwe have recently returned from a wonderful week away with friends at Bowmoor Lodge. It is the second time we have stayed there the first being in Winter. Waking up and drawing back the curtains and watching life go by on the lake is breathtaking. The facilities at The Lakes are fab and the house comes with bikes and canoes to enjoy the Estee and further afield. There are lots of things to do locally as well as great pubs and restaurants. Mark the owner was a pleasure to deal with and the house equipped with everthinf you might need.

Beautiful house - really felt like a home.

This is a magical place. We went for a long weekend and the only complaint from the kids were why weren't we staying longer! The view is amazing and waking up every morning was very special. The house is very well laid out, equipped and stylishly finished - it felt very much like a home. We needed some help with the technology and the owners were extremely helpful. The facilities on the Lakes by Yoo estate have been very carefully constructed to ensure we all had activates to keep us entertained. There are some excellent local pubs and facilities in Lechalde. We will be going back next year - but for longer.

Great stay!!

We had a fantastic time on this beautiful property. The house is modern yet cosy and extremely well appointed, with breathtaking views. Our host was very helpful and gave great recommendations on places to go and things to do in the area. The concierge of the estate also helped make everything smooth and easy. We will definitely visit again!

Bowmore Lodge is mainly our second home that we rent out occasionally. It is truly stunning. My wife and I fell in love with the Lakes when we came to stay with friends and immediately decided to buy a house there. Bowmore Lodge is also a show home for my wife who is a successful interior designer who has completed over 10 houses at the Lakes, so it's important it's always in top condition. One thing is for sure Bowmore Lodge is not your typical rental property!

We have 4 bedrooms, 3 doubles, 2 of which are en suite. A kids bunk room that can sleep 3. A TV /Cinema room, that can be converted also into a double bedroom. A large living and dining room (seating 10, 12 at a squeeze). A large wood burning fireplace. Sonos music system, Sky and Apple TV in both the living room and TV room, a 100sq.m terrace with comfortable outdoor furniture... and much much more.

A perfect retreat overlooking the finest British countryside, this is a haven for anybody that is looking to really detach themselves from the hustle and bustle of their busy lives whilst experiencing Britain's finest.

You can swim in the swimming pool at the community centre between 1pm and 6pm (the time was determined by the residents’ association) - they charge an induction fee per family for showing you around the sports facilities there and providing fobs for the lockers. The water is very warm between 29 and 30 degrees and generally is suitable even for very small children. The Spa offers massages, and a full range of beauty treatments and we can also organize a masseuse to come to the house.

You can hire bicycles to tour the estate or explore the stunning Coln River.

Local pubs within short driving distance include The Swan in Southrop is one of our favorites, or The 5 Alls in Flikin, or if you want a cozy pub in a tiny village, the there's the Plough in Kelmscott, all using local produce. The best coffee in Gloucestershire is served by Lynwood Cafe in Lechlade our local village, and they also have have amazing sourdough bread. Onsite, there's Elsa's restaurant in the tee-pee by the spa, but we recommend booking as it can get quite busy.

We're in the heart of the Cotswolds, with so many stunning villages around for exploring.
