Great location. Great bed. It’s an older complex and the condo could use some updating but the comfort of the bed and layout of the place was superior. The main pool was closed for maintenance but the other ocean side pool was opened. Parking was easy. Elevator was great for coming and going. I would highly recommend and stay here again.

Second time around and would definitely visit again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Knutson Team has wonderful customer service, we actually dropped into their office on Ali'i Blvd to meet the team (and get some direction as to the pending arrival of NOLO). With respect to Casa De Emdeko, it's our second stay at this unit and we would come back. The property itself, it spacious, well maintained, has a wonderful pool and beach area (not for swimming, but for reading/lounging/etc.,) The common area with BBQ's, morning Coffee and space to dine was very clean. As for the unit itself, it's spacious, the bed is very comfortable, the shower/washroom area is large and has plenty of storage. The lanai provides both mauka and makai views, we even saw dolphins swimming by on a few mornings. Walking to town is a possiibity if you like walking (I do), it's about 90 minutes round trip and I felt safe along Ali'i Blvd. We would highly recommend and we would definitely use Knutson & Co for our next vacation to Casa De Emdeko. Amazing price for a last minute booking. Condo was super clean everything worked well. Owners were responsive if we had questions. Tons of beach gear to use.

The unit was good and as advertised, just some minor issues,- I couldn’t find the light switch to the main light in the kitchen until the last day. - I couldn’t get the TV remote to change the channel. I don’t think it was user error, perhaps batteries. There were issues with the property management that were major, and we do not intend to return to the property again in the future.

Salt water pool over looking the ocean poounding against the wall. So cool. Chlorine pool was really.nice and warm. Fountain was a tranquil and soothing.

We really enjoyed our stay in and would stay here again. This unit is conveniently located and has a lovely ocean view from the lanai. Everything was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and I really liked having a washer/dryer in the unit. The air conditioning worked well and the king size bed was very comfy. There is an elevator. The pool area is awesome, with a fresh water pool, a salt water pool, a sandy "beach" area, grills, and tables overlooking the ocean. The complex is very quiet and peaceful and beautifully landscaped.

Great condo, poor management

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time that our family has stayed in this condo facility, first time in this condo. Everything was great! However, we were vacationing with children and the manager of the property made it seem that the children were not welcome. At the pool, the kids were jumping in the pool and playing like any kid does at a pool. The manager came up to us and told us that the kids were not allowed to jump into the pool as this “was a waste of the water that is now out of the pool. We have to fill it up again”. She also told us that the pool is for everyone (well, yes of course it is!) and that we needed to keep it down. If this would have been early in the morning or evening, then yes the kids were being too loud. But this was early afternoon. Locals seemed to know exactly who we were talking about when we described the above situation. So I’m assuming this happens a lot with her!The condo itself had mainly the necessities that are needed. I would have liked to have a few more serving trays/bowls but that’s not a big deal! The area where the grills are is awesome and is a great spot to watch the sunset. Very close location to downtown and beaches. The company was great to book with and great with replies to and emails! If I was to come back to the Kona area, I would not stay at this facility solely based on the manager making children feel unwelcome.

Casa de Emdeko 330 ~ two thumbs up

We loved our 4 day stay in this lovely place. We enjoyed the view of the ocean from the lanai, and enjoyed walking down the pretty landscaped pool area to the ocean's edge to enjoy the crashing waves on the rocks. The king bed was incredibly comfortable, and there are many fun places to visit and dine right nearby. Two thumbs up for Casa de Emdeko 330.
