Cottage is right in the heart of Duck in a nice quiet community. Easy access to restaurants and shops. It’s only about a 4 or 5 minute walk to the beach which is very well kept. Bernadette was super to work with and we’ll definitely look at coming back.

Our family loves loves loves the Blue Box! Always exactly what we need, super clean, close to town, close to beach and the perfect place to relax. Will definitely be staying here again!

The bluebox was a perfect fit for the four of of us. The property has that OBX old school charm and is close enough to the beach to easily grab your stuff and be on the beach in no time. The outdoor seating areas, TV room and screened in porch provided more than enough options on places to eat or just hang out when not enjoying the beach. My wife also wanted me to make sure I mentioned how many hooks there were to hang wet suits, towels, hats and anything else that needed hanging. We are already looking forward to another visit.

This was our third time at The Blue Box. We just love it! My kids love how close it is to the beach to boogie board and the outdoor shower to rinse off. The screened in porch is great It’s close to the boardwalk. Our host is responsive and the house is super clean! Definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at the Blue Box. It is a short walk to the ocean with convenient beach access.It is near several ice cream shops, great restaurants (our Favorite is SunSet Grille) and local gift shops.

Our family really enjoyed staying at the Blue Box. Our host, Bernadette, was easy to reach and gave us great info. We loved the location - so close to both the beach and town. The house has plenty of room for a family of 6 and there were several decks for everyone to hang out and socialize. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and entertaining. The outside shower is a bonus!! We loved everything about this house and look forward to our next visit.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have been happier with this property. The home was clean, comfortable, and very family-friendly, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy our vacation.One of our favorite things was the location. The short walk to the beach was incredibly convenient, and we loved that it was a quieter stretch of shoreline where we could enjoy the ocean without the crowds. It was the perfect spot for morning walks, beach days, and watching the sunset.The home was well-equipped, exactly as described, and made for a stress-free and enjoyable stay. The host was great to work with, and everything from check-in to check-out was easy.We made some wonderful family memories here and would gladly stay again the next time we’re in the Outer Banks. Highly recommend!

We once again had an amazing time at the Blue Box! We walked to the beach each day, to dinner each night, and shopping. Loved hearing the waves while we ate on the screened porch and hung out on the deck!

Really enjoyed the location jn the heart of Duck a few houses away from the beach. Outdoor shower and screened eating room were also super nice. It worked well for our family week.

Perfect location in Duck. Short walk to beach and only 10 minute walk to restaurants, shops, etc. Owner was very responsive.

Great house, great location!

The Blue Box was very clean and very well maintained. It had everything we needed. Outdoor shower is super and the A/C was cold during a major heat wave. Great location for the teens to walk into the town for shopping and treats!

First time in Duck

We had a great stay in NC. Surf was rough and a couple of rainy days but the house made it easy to do lots of other things with kids. We had a great time!

Always a fantastic stay!

Love love love this house and Duck! We've stayed at this home multiple times over the years and it never disappoints. Owner is always so kind and accommodating, it is so close to the beach and Duck, always clean and plenty of chairs/tents/toys to use. Can't say enough, and we'll definitely be back yet again!

Our second stay at this great house. We love the proximity to the beach and downtown. We love the screened in porch for family meals and games. Lots of space to spread out. The TV in the evening was great for movie nights. There are lots of sand toys and beach chairs. We’d definitely stay again!

Relaxing!

Very clean, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, lovely yard and great location! Perfect for the 3 of us. We absolutely loved the screened in porch off the kitchen! Very easy walk to beach and Town of Duck.
