The hosts are very accommodating and great communicators. We were a family of 6 and had ample room to both sleep and relax. The home is very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances as well as space for our groceries. The bedrooms also had places to put your clothing so that you didn’t have to live out of a suitcase. This is our second time staying at Rock n River and we would definitely stay again.

Non mi è piaciuto: Posizione
It was a nice property. The host were very communicative and had all the bases covered. Unfortunately for us the power was out for about 6 hrs. Additionally there were some cooling and ice maker issues with the fridge, possibly due to the power outage. Since it was full of food that was a bummer. It was a nice relaxing place, but price seems a bit high for the area and limited amenities.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed your stay. Sorry for the power disruption- unfortunately, a wildfire-related incident caused a power outage across the Methow Valley during your visit. We maintain a gas generator for times like this so power is available for critical things.

This property, due to previous knowledge met our needs. We liked the open living space to cook and enjoy the fire while watching the Super Bowl and Olympics after recreating. The setting is in a remote neighborhood providing a quiet retreat.

Beautiful Home on the River

We spent two nights at this property and next time we will invite friends/family and spend more time. The home is large, well appointed, clean and in a great location! Quiet and peaceful stay near great hiking, nice restaurants and pubs!

Comfy beds, lots of communal space in open floor plan, plenty of kitchen stuff, our dogs could join us to meet the neighbors and the house was warm enough during the cold snap.Only issue was a fireplace that leaked smoke when not a roaring blaze, causing smoky air!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It is a beautiful and spacious home that is well appointed with everything you would need. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms had great showers and space to spread out. The full size washer and dryer made it easy to clean our clothes after hiking and being outside all day. The location was great for hiking and accessing the trails of the North Cascades.

comfortable stay, gorgeous views!

My friends and I had a comfortable stay. The home was well stacked with kitchen, bedding and bathroom essentials. The backyard has a view of the mountains and a river flowing, which is gorgeous. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.

Refuge in the Snow.

After our daily adventures, the property was a comfortable and secluded place to come back to. We were able to return and relax in a private beautiful setting and prepare our anticipated meals.

Enjoyed our stay!

The house was terrific for a three-night stay for five friends. Clean, well equipped, nice beds and furniture. The host was very responsive to any questions and providing additional information. On-site caretaker is very nice.

Incredible stay

Every detail of our stay was well thought out and taken care of - from welcome treats that were greatly enjoyed to games to provisions for cooking indoors if you wanted, to recommendations for places to eat out at and things to do. Waking up to towering pine views from the large windows and chance encounters with deer outside - and the gurgling river - you can truly find calm, relax while enjoying the beauty of the Cascades. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Perfect for us

We loved being away from town. It's very quiet and comfortable, spacious, and well appointed. The infloor heating was great, and there are space heaters - plus lots of afghans that we never needed to use.

YOU WILL NEED NOTHING!

My husband, dog and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The owners/caretakers have thought of everything, from piles of extra blankets to spices and baking ingredients along with all kitchen appliances. The setting is right on the river and so many hiking trails in every direction. We will be back.

Hidden Getaway

We absolutely loved this home! My family and I spent 2 days in the Mazama/Winthrop area and fell in love. The pictures not descriptions do it justice as this property is gorgeous. The owners are very communicative and gave tons of good advice on navigating the area. We built fires both nights, then roasted marshmallows and hotdogs by the river. We will be back for sure!

Lovely

This is a well furnished, comfortable house in a beautiful area and close to some great hikes. However, although it does sleep 8, I'm glad we only had three because everyone upstairs has to go through the master bedroom to get to the bathroom.

Thank you for the review. Yes, the upstairs bathroom is off the master bedroom. The downstairs bathroom (has full shower and bath tub) is not connected to a bedroom.
