We had a wonderful girls trip!! The beach was so close and we loved being able to walk there every morning.

We are so glad you had a good weekend at our house. We are enjoying it right now. I can report that the surf is wild this morning after yesterday’s rain and wind. Otherwise the water was actually quite tolerable on the 4th of July.

Perfect stay for dog lovers. Nice neighborhood to walk and literally five minutes from the beach. We had a few questions when we got to the house and Carol responded quickly. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Sandwich is a great town for restaurants and the canal and boardwalk are must dos. Fisherman’s View, the Pilot House and Sagamore are a few of the ones we enjoyed. Shipwreck Ice Cream was the bomb for dessert. A walker’s paradise.

The home was just as advertised. It had everything we needed for a week's vacation. The beach was just a short walk from the home. The space was perfect. We liked it so much we re-rented for next year!

This rental was immaculate and felt like a home that someone cares about. The kitchen was well stocked. The beach was definitely private. The owners were responsive to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this vacation rental for anyone looking for peace and quiet

Love this annual vacation spot for our family of four (with adult children). Great private beach location. Comfortable and very clean accommodations with stairs - 3 floors including basement . Immediate response to questions always provided by owners. Not many affordable gems like this one left for rent in this area !

We loved the location. The house was tidy but dated especially given that’s it’s surrounded by updated gorgeous homes.The back porch is so nice but lacked a screen door which would have been nice especially on the cooler evenings. The host was lovely, accommodating, and responsive. There was an issue with the air conditioner before we got there but she ensured we had one when we arrived and it was actually so cool in the home. The kitchen was updated and stocked. Beds were comfortable. Close to beach and other parts of Sandwich. We had a great week.

Annual visitors

After several years of visits this feels like our summer home away from home - comfortable accommodations with plenty of storage -within walking distance of private beach and easy driving distance to shops ,grocery and the Cape Cod Canal.

My wife and I loved this property. We came with our kids for a wedding, but probably going to come just the 2 of us at some point in a summer to better enjoy the beach/weather. Just a heads up, when you get the key code, screenshot it or write it down. There isn't great service (at least for Verizon) to get the data if you didn't do that. I had to drive back down the main street to get service to get it.Communication with host was great. Property was perfect. Love this place.

Perfect location

Great house in a quiet neighborhood with a private beach and easy access to all the Cape has to offer. We had a wonderful stay. Only downside to the house was lots of carpeting and some things were a little dated.

Cozy spot on the cape

This was a lovely spot for our family to stay at for a quick weekend away. The updated kitchen is beautiful and functional, wifi is fast, and the location is wonderful. We'll be back!

Perfect weekend on the Cape

Loved this house, the neighborhood, and being able to walk to the beach! The kitchen had all the essentials and then some. The screened -in porch was especially lovely on the cool nights. I'd definitely stay here again!

Older home in good shape. Good seafood area. Has a private beach. Public beaches are free but parking is unfairly priced.

Very Nice Accommodation

If you want to feel like your staying at a realities or a friends house, this is the place. Great layout of home and very nice decor. Highly recommend it. Had everything one would need.

Perfect house in Sandwich!

We had a wonderful time bringing in the New Year in Sandwich!! This house is in a great private neighborhood walking distance to the beautiful beach. We felt right at home as did our dog Benny! The updated kitchen has everything we needed and more! This is a hidden gem and we will definitely be back!!

clean, dog-friendly, exactly as described!

Carol's home is exactly what you see. It was filled with enough beds, beach chairs, pillows, room for a family of 5 and a big dog. I would definitely stay here again as the private beach was only 5 mins from her house. Thanks Carol for a great vacation/reunion spot with the family. Also, Carol was very responsive and was quick to address any of our concerns.

Captain Kidd House

Great location. It's an easy stroll to the private beach. You can wander down a few times a day and not have to set up a base camp for the duration. Enjoyed biking both sides of the CC Canal Path. Owner was nice and left to beach bikes out for our use plus quite a few beach chairs.

Our Happy Place

We have been annual summer visitors for several years now and it always feels like our home away from home. The close walk to the private beach and screened porch are favorites here. The house is kept updated with every modern convenience and clean! Our host Carol is fantastic about responding to questions quickly and we look forward to spending time here every year . We call it our “Happy Place “.
