Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My siblings and I really enjoyed our stay with ElkSpring Resorts. We stayed at Knocking on Heavens door. The view was beautiful the cabin accommodated for our group. Only thing that was an issue was getting my ford explorer truck up that steep mountain to the cabin. Other than that our host was great and our cabin was beautiful..!

New years eve

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The accommodations offered a beautiful view and cabin. However, the cleanliness was subpar, and the home theater system was inoperable. The grill was unusable due to excessive grease, and both the kitchen trash can and the oven were in an unsanitary condition. Unfortunately, no cleaning supplies were provided to address these issues.

Thank you for your kind review, Teresa.  We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your overall stay.  In the mountains, it is common to have to drive up some narrow or winding roads.  We do have several cabins to choose from, however, that are not on such mountainous roads.  I'm sure one of our Reservation Specialists will be happy to help you find the perfect cabin for your next visit.  We appreciate your reporting to us that the signage could be better.  I will be sure to report this to the proper department for review.  We hoe you will choose to visit us again on your next trip to The Smokies.
