Great home and great location

We had a great stay and loved the location, the private beach and were very happy with the host. No issues at all and would Love to come back soon!

Msg was accommodating and responsive. We loved the beach. This is such a good spot for a family, clear water, private area, wish I were there

Excellent house, location and hosts

Enjoying a fire on Crystal Lake in the evening or kayaking in the morning are just two highlights. Spacious, well stocked home close to nice restaurants and all that northern Michigan has to offer. We had a perfect time, and can’t recommend it highly enough!

Beautiful view

Loved our stay. The waterfront view and beach are incredible. The owner was quick and kind with her responses. Easy check in and out. Will definitely go back.

Wonderful cottage

Great place to stay. Cottage was very clean and comfy. Owners have thought of everything you could need. Really enjoyed the beach and the beautiful lake-kayaks and SUPs were lots of fun to use. Meg was always quick to answer all inquiries and questions and was a great host.

Great cottage

It was just as described and my family enjoyed it. From smore's on the beach, fishing crystal lake, kids swimming, and relaxing in the mornings and evening on deck, it was all perfect for our short getaway. Plus located close to many area attractions. Plus Meg was very responsive to the few questions we had (she had answered most before we even had to ask).

Exactly as advertised!

The property was exactly as advertised. Beautiful view and great sandy beach. Loved the kayaks and stand up paddle boards! Meg had some nice personal touches that made the experience top notch.

Wonderful beach cottage on the lake

We had a wonderful week at Meg’s beautiful house and beach! The house is clean and well kept with great views of the lake, we loved having our morning coffee on the deck overlooking the water! The beachfront is ideal and private, complete with water toys and a covered patio to allow for a break from the sun on very sunny days! All in all, we loved our stay and it was the perfect cozy beach cottage!

Absolutely perfect stay!

We loved everything about this stay. First and foremost this beach is phenomenal and Crystal Lake is stunning. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable place to relax after being on the lake! They have thought of everything and the little details make a world of difference. We have visited several homes on these travel sites and this was by far the cleanest! Loved everything about it and hope to be back soon!

Excellent family beach spot

Cozy house with amazing private beach, dock, and gazebo across the street. Sitting on the dock in the morning was incredibly peaceful. The water was shallow enough my 4yr old could play in it. There were lots of things already there like kayaks, beach toys for kiddos, board games inside - it made it easy to stay occupied. Location is close to Sleepy Bear dunes and Frankfort for dinners. Loved our stay!

Had an amazing week at this cottage. Everything about the property was amazing - layout, amenities, location, host. Couldn’t have asked for a better host (who even texted to check on us when she got severe weather alerts!). Would come back in a heartbeat.

Perfection!

The house was the perfect size and location. We had dinner on the deck almost every night overlooking the lake. The lake water was crystal clear and the beach area was pristine. Meg the owner was quick to respond to my questions. We’d drive 14 hours again to stay there!!!

Great Vacation House!

The house has so much character! I felt at home. The goodie bag that the host provided was a fantastic bonus! It was in the low 70s when we visited but my kids did not care. They swam, we kayaked, we even rented a boat from the Marina down the road. Thank you Meg!

Crystal Lake Michigan

Very unique home! Awesome views of the lake from the house deck. House had all the necessary items for a comfortable stay. Spiral stairs were a challenge to navigate with luggage and groceries.

Beautiful home on an amazing lake

We spent the long Memorial Day weekend here and it was beyond our wildest expectations. The beach area was cozy and kept the kids entertained all day. The house was so comfortable, from the large windows and balcony to the spiral staircase. We spent the one chilly overcast day exploring the dunes and nearby towns. Driving through the tree lined roads was so much fun. My only regret is we didn’t stay longer!

Relaxing Stay on Crystal Lake

We stayed here with our 2 small children and had a blast. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Meg was available to help us and easy to communicate with. We love architecture and appreciated the unique style of the cabin. We had a blast at the private beach and had fun using the fire pit and roasting marshmallows. We also enjoyed how close the property was to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Frankfort. Looking forward to hopefully staying again.

Paradise

Excellent location was so peaceful and very quiet. Beach And water area perfect for any age we had a 2 yr old with us water shallow at the edge and plenty of sand to play in. Owners have thought of everything you could need . Property was extremely clean and well organized. Very relaxing get away . If we get up in that area again we will definitely stay again. Also owner responds very quickly. Thanks had a great time......

4th of July getaway

We had the best 3 days/3 nights at the lake! The deck and beach area were perfect. Our kids loved playing off the dock and in the sand. We enjoyed the kayaks too. The house is complete with all the necessities. The kitchen was stocked well and the living space was enough for our family of five to relax comfortably. We enjoyed sunsets and sunrises from the front deck. The only concern we had were cars driving fast down the road directly in front of the house. 5/5 stay!

Meg's cottage was a great place to stay as I celebrated a milestone birthday with family. Her updates to the cottage as well as the beach are so nice. We felt very comfortable and loved sitting on the deck in the morning drinking coffee. Meg had everything you could need for making a meal in the beautiful kitchen. We spent a lot of time at the beach going in the water and just hanging out. It was quite hot when we were there and the water felt great. We appreciated the water toys for our use. The beach felt very private and we loved eating dinner on the patio by the water. Meg's cottage is a great place to stay and I would love to come back!
