Great experience! The place was super cute, well taken care of, and everything worked. It was in the middle of a heat wave, but the unit stayed very cool thanks the AC and insulation. Would highly recommend!

Very quaint and charming studio, located in a very nice neighborhood close to grocery stores / restaurants! However there were quite a few mosquitos within the studio and I would have loved to know that prior to bring bug spray and be better prepared. The fully stocked kitchen was great, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Thank you.

This guest stole items from our studio. If there were mosquitos, it was because doors were left open. We have anti1 mosquito devices on this property. Not only did they steal from us but they lied to VRBO and tried to get more money out of us. In 14 years we have had theft only three times and this was one of the times.

Great property/location and hosts. If you are visiting Pasadena or San Gabriel Valley or Downtown Los Angeles it's ideal. Would gladly stay there again.

Great stay

The overall experience at this vrbo was fantastic. A few friends and I stayed here for four nights, and the amenities provided were more than acceptable. The host was extremely friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable during our stay. I highly recommend this vrbo if you're planning to stay in Los Angeles County.

Perfect studio & neighborhood

I loved my stay at Kristin and Richard's place. They are warm, friendly, helpful hosts who make it very easy to settle into the studio and find your way around the neighborhood. I'm definitely bookmarking this spot for another visit.

Cozy

Property is nice and cozy, and has a common area shared with other lodgings that the owners have. There were some issues with a lot of mosquitoes due to recent rain but the owners were accommodating and provided repellent to help. Excellent communication and accomodation from the owners made for a great stay.

Perfect lodging and location for a busy stay in South Pasadena

The amenities were above and beyond for light cooking, use of personal electronics, sleep, atmosphere, and setting. The hosts were friendly and informative with timely response to questions. The property afforded privacy with the opportunity to enjoy a common garden patio as desired. We will definitely return the next time we visit the Pasadena area!

Perfect Location

The location worked perfectly for us. I needed a location close by while work was being done to my home. We were only 8 mins away. It was the perfect size for me and my pup. Check in was quick and easy. The neighborhood was a great place to walk my dog.

Perfect Location

We chose this location since it’s close to where our son lives. Not knowing what to expect of the neighborhood, we were thrilled that the neighborhood is very dog friendly. We took our Becca out for a walk a couple of times, and we met so many dog walkers along the way who were so welcoming. The studio was just the right size for the two of us and our furry companion. I highly recommend this place for pet lovers.

This couple was angry before they arrived. The wife was screaming at the husband in the street in front of the property. How embarrassing for them. Probably a long travel day. . They tried to get out of their reservation by saying their was one hair on the sofa…. This didn’t make sense, we said no because they kept others from booking. This is a punitive review because they wanted their money back. The review doesn’t match the cleanliness of our property.

This property is a lovely example of Southern California charm.

My husband and I enjoyed a 3-night stay in this property safely tucked behind the owners’ home, yet with complete privacy. It was clean and comfy and stocked with anything one would need to cook their own meals, despite the proximity to restaurants and coffee shops. I also liked the common area outdoor seating and tables with grill, shaded by trees and large umbrella. Our schedules prevented us from meeting the owners personally, but our electronic communications with them were cordial and pleasant; and I greatly appreciated their kind assistance regarding a small item I left behind. We plan to return the next time we come to visit South Pasadena.

This is a very compact studio but it has been outfitted with essentially every amenity that can fit into a small space, including a coffee milk frother, wine glasses, drip coffee makes (french press!), a memory foam top for the futon, and other surprises. The space is very private and quiet. The shower was strong and the hot water came up right away. The AC was necessary (temps in the 90s in Pasadena for a couple of days) but the room cooled down nicely and the AC itself was not too noisy nor did it cycle on and off frequently (which can otherwise be annoying). I was able to park in their driveway, but otherwise it takes a bit of logistics to park in that part of Pasadena. If you want lots of television flexibility, make sure you know the sign-ins for your favorite network apps as the on-set listings are numerous but mostly older stuff. I would certainly commend this space to others for a convenient and comfortable spot in Pasadena.

Great Location to the South Pass metro station and a fantastic Thursday farmers market if your there at that day. Excellent communication with the host. One of the nicest outfitted places I have Air B and B'd. Lots of extras like a full kitchen, books, videos, kitchen utensils (sharp knives for once). The futon was was surprisingly comfy for two. Nice outdoor space to hang out in a super safe area with lots of restaurant options within 2 blocks. Would definitely stay here again.

Weekend in South Pasadena

This place is a cozy, quiet hideaway. If you like reading, movies or cooking, you will love this place. There’s plenty of books, DVDs, and every kitchen item you could ever need. They literally thought of everything you would need. There’s even a guidebook with helpful info about everything in the unit, parking, and local restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.
