Book a stay here- you will not regret it. Beautiful home with stunning views. Home was comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed. Fun things to enjoy both inside and outside. The outdoor property is beautiful. We enjoyed the stay with our teenage kids and our dog. Close proximity to hiking, dining etc. Kathy is a wonderful host. Very responsive and makes sure that you enjoy your stay.

Everything was as advertised and the communication with Kathy was probably the best I’ve experienced with an owner. She replied to questions within 30 min and genuinely wanted to ensure our stay was comfortable. House was well supplied with everything we needed. Beautiful view, hot tub was nice, and we enjoyed seeing the resident groundhogs and even a black bear!

You saw the groundhogs? I am thrilled to hear that! We haven't seen them since Hurricane Helene, and have been so worried about them. And a black bear too? Was he in the pond? Everything was perfect! We love this house and Kathy makes everything so easy and comfortable. This is the second time our family has stayed here, and we can't wait to come back! So clean, convenient to all the town has to offer and the view of Grandfather Mtn from the back of the house is stunning!

We had a great stay. Owner was very good on communication and everything went smoothly. House is great location for skiing and has beautiful views. House was equipped with everything we needed and lots of space for a big group of people.

Kathy has ensured you have a home away from home with this place. The house is so beautiful with lots of thoughtful touches. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and location. We were lucky enough to have a winter wonderland and were very grateful for the shuttle to the lifts! Kathy was so communicative and helpful and we can’t wait to come back! House has everything and more! Better equipped than any VRBO we’ve ever been to, particularly the kitchen. Views are spectacular and beds were all very comfortable. Easy access to downtown, Grandfather mountain, etc.

Great stay

7 min drive to sugar mountain, good amount of room for larger groups staying there as long as people are okay with the open area upstairs trundle beds, great amenities and beautiful view!

The house is beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice! The host is super quick to respond and helpful with any questions we had. We had a winter storm coming in and the host made sure we were safe and gave us a refund because we had to leave a day early to not get caught by storm which other host would not do. I will definitely be coming back and telling my family/friends to stay here.

Well stocked cabin, thoughtful touches, beautiful view

This was one of the best vacation rentals I've ever had. It really felt like a home and was perfect for our group of 30 somethings. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and relaxing on the many patios!

This property is amazing and the amenities they provide such as extra towels, paper towels, even down to the high quality TP! This place is amazing

Fabulous Sugar Mountain Vacation

This is a fantastic home for a family vacation. It is spacious, well-equipped and located in a great area. The views are spectacular and the back yard with a pond and waterfall is very relaxing. We will definitely stay here again if we return to the Grandfather Mountain area for vacation.

Beautiful and fun

Enjoyed our stay. The house truly felt like a home and was relaxing. Backyard and downstairs play area were a big hit with my kids.

Beautiful, Comfy, All-Around Great Home!

Our group had such a great weekend trip. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and there are plenty of beautiful spots to hangout and relax. We had great communication with the owner, as well, and will certainly look at booking future trips here.

Mountain birthday weekens

The property is just how described with beautiful views. Host was terrific in making sure we were comfortable and having everything we needed. Amenities are great would recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area.

Fabulous retreat

This is one of the most beautiful homes that we have stayed in. The owner was wonderfully accommodating and helpful with all of our needs. The home is absolutely breathtaking and spacious.
